My husband and I stayed at Stone Village, Bali, for two weeks with our three children of 9, 14 and 17. Dimitris, the owner, and all the staff were genuinely helpful, friendly and generous. Everything was great here, location, pool, beds were relatively comfortable by Greek standards, the price was a very good value. The location is directly next to a mini market and close enough to the beach. The restaurant up on the hill over looking the beach is th best! -

I have been in Bali several times before but it was my first time at Valentino Apartments and it was my most pleasant stay on Crete.
Niki and Christos are so friendly and they gave a warm welcome to me so that I felt cordially invited to be part of the "valentino family" during my stay.

Only in the village of Bali you have to have in mind that everything is uphill which was fine for us though. As said in other reviews the hotel is mostly used by French people and all the activities are in French (which we didnt mind at all since we werent interested in them anyway) but all the staff does speak English perfectly. I go with my family to balli for the last 8 years and stay there for about 20 - 25 days. I usually was staying at onother hotel witch was good.
