Absolutamente todo. La propietaria es amable, simpática, encantadora, etc. Nos recogió en el aeropuerto a nuestra llegada y nos llevó al puerto el último día. La habitación, limpia y cómoda. Pension George is run by a family who take such great care of their guests. For instance they picked us up at the port when our ferry came in at 1:00 am and dropped us off at the airport and port when it was time to leave--with no extra cost!
Karterados is a 15 minute walk to Firos --but if you are interested in the people of Santorini--Karterad

Location was quiet and away from crowds of tourists in Fira. Only a 20 minute walk to Fira or 5 minute bus ride.
The little village has retaurants if you don't want to go to Fira and of course cheaper!
Helen the owner is an English woman married to a Greek so her English is perfect which can be handy!! She is also very helpful regardinf tours etc and they are very accommodating regarding pick up and drop offs to port or airport for free.
The pool is lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Margarita, even though there were electricity problems on the island while we were there. The breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely, leaving fresh fruit for us from their farm and dropping us to the port when we left. Good pool. Rooms were cleaned immaculately daily. -

If you are looking for a cheap hotel with a local feeling away from the crowd this is the place to stay.
15 minutes from Thira bus station, in a little village, Villa pavlina is a quiet hotel.
The owners will be happy to help you with anything, plus you get free transfers from/to the hotel.
We slept OK but could hear our neighbours.

Me ha gustado mucho este hotel por la amabilidad de el encargado, los detalles que tiene con todos los huespedes, el trato con los clientes es muy familiar, la tranquilidad y las vistas desde la terraza de la habitacion (no son a la caldera pero no estan nada mal) - la tranquilidad que tiene y el trato del personal

The area is quiet, and Fira is an easy 10 minute walk - this is where the bars, clubs, etc. are located. A fantastic hotel runs by a fantastic family. We were there for 4 nights with 3 teenagers. The children slept in an apartment-loft while my husband and I were in the windmill: very romantic and lovely. The pool area is wonderful, with nice sunbeds. A little walk to Fira centrum (15 mn) uphills... sweaty in the middle of the day but nice at night.

The staff is wonderful and do all they can to accomodate their guests. They arranged for a rental car at a good price. The hotel is quite nice, quiet and very well kept. It has a beautiful pool area. The room was rather large and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast is good and has a good number of choices. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from downtown Fira. The road is not heavily travelled by motorists but is a bit dark so preferable to bring a flashligh

Great atmosphere, it had nice private rooms with air conditioning to camping grounds. Great pool and bar with lovely staff, shop, restaurant all part of the grounds and right in the centre of Fira... Fantastic -

My husband and I spent 6 nigths at this hotel and we liked everything. Location is very convenient, near to Fira ( 5 minutes walking) but not too close to be noisy, in fact, the surroundings of the hotel were quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious and very clean. Villa Koronios is a wonderful place.
The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the amassing views of the Santorini caldera from Fira but in a quiet and relaxing place with a beautiful view of the sea toward the East. In my opinion, it cannot go better. The location is 5 min to the central bus station in Fira where all buses can take in any place on the island and 5 min to the grocery store.
