Excellent position, 200 mtrs from the old walled town with plenty of Restaurants etc.

We liked every aspect of normal hotel amenities found at the ante porta. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was perfectly designed for function and comfort, the bathroom answered all needs, the breakfast was sensational and the location superb. The parking was convenient and secure. I would stay at this hotel and any other just like it anywhere in the world if available.

This hotel is a renovated kloster and retains many of the original fittings - it's beautiful! We ate dinner there which was fantastic and enjoyed the beautiful views of the river which runs directly in front. Visitors should note that the Klosterschenke is a significant distance from Trier, however, so a car is definitely required. -

The location is hard to beat. The room size was large for a European hotel, easily accommodating the extra bed for our child. - Location is excellent - directly in front of Porta Nigra (great view), parking is in the hotel.

The hotel is very good, surrouded by grape fields. A little far from the center, but you can catch a bus very close or a cab for 10 euro. - All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Brilliant breakfast and extra large inexpensive bar meals. Excellent facilities. We will return.
