The hospitality and friendliness of the family who run this hotel. Good food and wine. Excellent value. We arrived late at 9:15 pm after a long days ride and they cooked us a meal. views, convinient parking. We all slept like babies for 12 hours in
absolutely quiet room:-) Ellenz is tiny town, just a short ferry ride
across the river - nice little Beilshtein with its streets and castle
where we enjoyed views and a tasty meal.

We told the owner Sabine we will come back one day and yes, we will! The region is an absolute delight. The hotel is top notch. Comfort, cleanliness, convenience and hearty breakfast with homemade jam and fruit medley made an wonderful stay. The family owned Zehnthauskeller took wine tasting to another level. Sitting in the 400 year old wine cellar sipping local wine was the best way to wrap up a day of sightseeing.
