Quite outstanding hospitality offered by Stefan and Frank - friendly, interesting and helpful in every way. This is a simple, clean and unpretentious hotel offering really excellent value for money. The four days spent at Zum Anker enabled us to appreciate (for the first time) some of the reasons that people love the Moselle - we strongly recommend this Hotel and the whole area.

The hiking around the area are superb. World class. If you hike, this is it! It is in the Mosul River Valley and there is not a bad view from anywhere. The owners are very nice. This was the perfect place for our family to relax. The hotel provided a wonderful babysitter and our daughter was dissappointed when we hadn't booked her for the third day of our stay.
