Quiet, peaceful location. Close to Kallmunz, stayed here while working at Hohenfels. Great staff, large comfortable room. Borrowed a bike and rode to the fair in town, and hiked to Burg Kallmunz.

This is a "designer" hotel and every turn had surprises. Memory foam beds - so comfy. Chalet-looking balconies overlooking a castle on the hill. Great showers. Good breakfast. Fast internet. Our 2 rooms (one couple per room) each had room for a small family. Ours had a larger-than-usual queen bed, a single and a bunk built into the elaborate headboard. We spent a night here on our way to Budapest. It is a beautiful hotel, centrally located in Passau. The staff was wonderful, and the restaurant was very good as well. They went above and beyond...my daughter loved her meal and wanted to eat the rest for breakfast, but we didn't have a refrigerator in our room. They packed up her food and put it in the refrigerator in their kitchen overnight and then reheated them for her the next morning. Amazing service!!
