The owner went out of her way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served in a beautiful room with stone arches, large windows, and a view of a stream running along side the hotel. We had three elderly people, myself and husband and daughter in 3 rooms. The accomodations were clean and very comfy. The staff friendly and inviting and the breakfast wonderful. We would definitely stay there again!!.

Located in a beautifull town on the Rhine river 15 minutes by train from a. Few other beautiful towns and castles. Wonderful local food in the restaurant. Spacious, quite and clean bedroom with balcony (upon request). Friendly and helpful staff, nice location. The restaurant serves good local disces. Friendliness of staff who were fluent in English.Room was comfortable and meals in restaurant were excellent quality and value for money. fantastic staff, very nice room and the town itself was charming. The hotel is located close to the railway so it is loud when freight trains go by at night. The rooms were a bit cold but the weather was dreadful!. It is located right next to the railroad tracks, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. As with most other towns along the Rhine the train lines run close to the town and passing trains produce a fair bit of noise. Soft bed. Nothing. With the exception of the very nice girl who showed us to our room, the other staff were not overly friendly - maybe its the way in all hotels in Germany? At breakfast , we had items missing from our table such as milk sugar etc, we needed to go looking for them ourselves while the staff attended to clean other tables. Would have thought they might have checked if we had everything we needed - appart from that it was fine,. Staff less than helpful when problems arose booking taxis For a tourist area, very little understanding of any issues for non-speaking German travellers. I had no problems with parking but in season it could become a problem. wi fi does not work. poor bad condition, noisy during night due to the train passing by.
