  It was a very pleasant surprise to get an apartment like that. We had read good reviews, but still reality was better. Great location, metro and supermarket are just 2 minutes walk, bus stop is around the corner. Wonderfull automatic door to the stairwell. Our apartment was just two stores from the bureau. The apartment we got had 2 bedrooms, while we just needed 1, it was nice. Lots - The location is great-near Sony Center (Potsdamer Platz) and close to the U-bahn station.   We had a problem with our room (it was smelling smoke) and people from reception had a quick and nice reaction, they changed our room, thing that we appreciate a lot. Breakfast is quite good with a german touch (muesli, german delicatessen and german cheeses, german bread). This is a really confortable hotel (beds and comforters...). The hotel was situated within walking distance of Museum Island and the Nikolaiviertel so sightseeing was easy. Having a subway station across the street gave us convenient access to the rest of Berlin.

  Absolutely excellent hotel, which is definitely on 5 stars level, helpful staff, ideally clean and nice designed rooms. Generally, the hotel was much better than expected to be. If I'll be again in Berlin, I'd stay there again and highly recommend this hotel for others. But this is not big problem, because there are a lot of excellent restaurants for any taste - Excellent location, <5 min walk to Gendarmenmarkt and 5min walk to German Dome. Closest metro stop is Hausvoigtel which is on a great line and can take you (without changing lines) to the Zoo or Ku-damm (shopping area). Wifi is free, stable, and reasonably fast. Hotel rooms are very well appointed and smart. Some great dining options closeby like Chipps for breakfast. All in all would stay again - really a nice hotel.

  The hostel is located really in a very good place. There is underground just close to it and there are many good places to eat just near the entrance of the hostel.   I never felt like a client, form the time I entered I felt like one of the family. This is a newly established hotel and therefore has some growing pains, however all that is overcome by a Gracious host and owner Christine. She was welcoming and invited to join her for wine and conversation in the evening.
