The staff was very friendly and even though we weren't suppose to get our room until 3 pm, the front desk made an effort so we could get it sooner (at 11am). Location location location!!! The hotel is situated in the historical part of Garmish and you have all bars and restaurants within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sauna is fabulous with an astonishing view from the window. Also we did like the breakfast.

Everything. Location- just 100 or so yards from train station, easy walking distance to both towns. There was attention to the smallest detail. Remarkable experience. Staff was exceptional. I have lived in Germany for 8 years and this was by far the best hotel for the money I have ever stayed at. - The were very helpful in providing information and suggestions for the surrounding area. All staff spoke inglish and I had no problem communicating with the staff as I speak minimal german.

Loved this hotel. We have stayed in Garmish on many occasions and find
this to be the best accommodation yet. A little more expensive but worth
it. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly.

Great value for the money in Germany. The staff made a point of
remembering your personal preferences. I stayed at 2 different 5-star
Hotels (one was even advertised as a Castle 5 star Hotel) in 2 different
cities on the same trip. Let me say, the service and attention to
details by Staudacherhof Hotel staff were far superior than the two
other 5

We were treated so well , particularly on our 30th anniversary when they dressed our table and gave us a personalised scroll
The spa area was amazing, very relaxing and, when we were there, was not overcrowded
The food was soooo good and plentiful
I cannot recommend this enough
