  The Square Coburg is in a wonderful location - right on the corner of the main square. We were there during the Weihnachtsmarkt and we had an amazing view from our room. There has been no acceptable hotel/b&b is the center (which is where you want to stay) - so The Square finally filled that gap with spacious, no frills but also no eyesore designed rooms, good beds & sheets & very friendly staff.

  Had a great time staying in a real castle. Had dinner one night in the castle and the next at the weinstube. Both great! Totally peaceful and great service - I was able to take my dog Nero with me and the staff was very friendly toward him. The grounds / garden are great for walking a dog or for relaxing.

  Pension Panorama was actually closed due to heat not working, so we were directed to stay at another 'Hotel Panorama' a few miles down the road. They offered us the same rate for the room as well as breakfast, which was nice.
