Stayed in Berlin for Depeche Mode at O2 World, so location was excellent, about 10 mins walk away.
Also close-by are very good transport links.
Was very pleasantly surprised how quiet and peaceful it was, when in our room.
Another bonus was free Wi-Fi and also free to use terminals in lobby area with facilities for print outs.

Located in Friedrichshain, very near U and S-Bahn stations. The area is a bit edgy with lots of night-life....but it still felt safe. Excellent facilities with a modern lobby. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Interesting historical building with an amazing courtyard in centre of the building. Double rooms had a/c which was greatly appreciated in a heat wave. El hotel es nuevo, tiene unos colchones muy cómodos, está muy limpio, el desayuno está bien en cuanto a calidad - precio y es un lugar centrado con respecto al barrio de mitte, a mitad de camino entre Alexander Platz y Postdamer Platz, pero muy bien conectado por transporte público con todo el resto de Berlín.

At first, I had booked a 16-day stay at the standard rate, which did not include a desk and a chair. I immediately upgraded and had a very enjoyable stay. As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy.
The location is excellent, around the corner from the Spittelmarkt U-bahn station. There are eateries near the station--a bakery, konditorei and bierstube restaurant. The hotel was perfectly placed, just a couple of minutes from the s-bahn at Savignyplatz, a non-stop trip of about 35-40 mins from Schönefeld airport, and the u-bahn at Uhlandstrasse. Many, many restaurants within a 5 minute walk, and plenty of bars and cafes.
