- The staff were really friendly and great. My sudden visit to this hotel was unexpected due to cancelled flight. Whilst at the airport I decided to book a room at Meininger Hotel for easy access back to the airport very early next morning. Upon submitting my request to stay one night on letsbookhotel.com I was virtually checked in to a room straight away at about 9am. I was very grateful to the staff for allowing me to get some well deserved rest.

Aunque leímos en algunas críticas que el hotel estaba en una zona desolada, con edificios de empresas, está situado muy cerca de la estación de metro Spittelmark, que está a pocas paradas(2, 4...) de todos los monumentos importantes. El hotel es nuevo, tiene unos colchones muy cómodos, está muy limpio, el desayuno está bien en cuanto a calidad - precio y es un lugar centrado con respecto al barrio de mitte, a mitad de camino entre Alexander Platz y Postdamer Platz, pero muy bien conectado por transporte público con todo el resto de Berlín.

As noted, the rooms are small; however, they are well designed in that there are nooks and crannies as well as hooks that help keep everything organized and handy.
The location is excellent, around the corner from the Spittelmarkt U-bahn station. There are eateries near the station--a bakery, konditorei and bierstube restaurant.
