After 2,5 hours waiting for the German adac in vain, the husband of the owner of the Guesthouse Nordstern offered help to put my motorbike in his van and drove to a motorbike garage from his friend. The rooms are big enough, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Shower cabins in the room is a little bit awkward, but you can use the private ones down the hall. A big plus for the WiFi.   Really nice appartment in Zollverein, a suburb of Essen. We only used it as a place to crash between to days on the road. - Very easy place to stay. Parking was over the road in free car park and tram was 30 seconds from apartment. - Just opposite to the ruhr museum and in the city centre this is the best hotel I got during my Europe tour.

  The staff was very helpful, even with a slight language problem. The food was very good, we enjoyed a meal in the evening, and a very hearty breakfast.
