A very helpful and friendly host assisted by two helpful four legged friends, Pluto the St Bernard and his sidekick Louis. We had a relaxing two night stay at Petit Manoir Meysset in November.
Our host, Suzette, spoke French and our home language (Aussie) which
meant we had plenty to discuss. We received an upgrade to a beautiful,
big room that was very well appointed. Breakfast, which costs extra but
is well worth the €7 each, was delicious and filling. The Dordogne
region is amazing! It requires a much longer visit than we could manage.

Staff was nice , room was spacious and quiet ( we overlooked the pool -- it was April so pool was not in use) We didn't eat breakfast there. There was a nice bar And area to sit outside. The location was ideal. -

The reception of Mrs. Schmitt (Agence Transimmo) was very warm. She gave us all the tips we needed the town of Sarlat and the functioning of the apartment. We had a great stay at this b&b. Gabrielle was extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The location is fantastic, literally 2 minutes walk from the centre of the old town, yet just outside of it so you still get peace and quiet. Breakfast was always excellent and filling. Overall a fantastic little place.

Le Porche de Sarlat is located in the old city of Sarlat and private car parking is located just outside the wall. Alex the owner was waiting for us when we arrived and explained all the appliances within the apartment which was new with all modern appliances and cooking requirements. Comfortable room in your own little garden oasis. Even though it's extremely close to the city centre, you never feel that way as it's like a little haven away from the bustle of crowds and noise. Very accommodating and sweet hosts who were patient with my atrocious French and always ready to help.
