The staff went out of their way to help us with a rental car problem and
were very friendly and accommodating with respect to all other matters.
The restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere and the food was
delicious. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the River Aure right
behind the rooms in the annex.

friendly and helpful, price was right, our only complaint was that we
didn't realize it was out of Bayeux approx. 4Kms and we didn't
have a rental car (and there weren't any to rent in town) so we
needed to taxi everywhere and that got a bit pricey.

Very good hotel at an excellent location by a water front with an interesing history behind (one of D-Day landing beaches). Very good restaurant serving great sea food (especially fresh oysters and lobsters). The hotel building is charming, old-fashioned but rooms have everything one needs. Good price/quality ratio.

We loved the fact that we were right on the seafront without a road between us and the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. It was also great to cycle from there. Would definitely stay there again.

The owner could not have been more helpful at this hotel. we were cycle touring with a tandem and the owner allowed us to suite the bike in a back room keeping it safe and off the street. the owner was very friendly and recommended a very nice restaurant. the room was basic but clean and the breakfast was also very nice. highly recommended. -

The location to Mont Saint Michel was excellent. The rooms are all you would need for a night or two. It would receive a perfect score if the beds were comfortable. -
Staff were friendly, helpful and as we didn't speak French their English was good. Held our bags in reception when we went to mont st Michael. Very good breakfast.

5 star it is not but if you are looking for old world French, which we were, it is excellent. The hotel was located in the middle of our transportation needs and we found the getting around from there was very easy. The food,wine and cheese was very good. if I return to Caen this will be where I will stay. -

mount and those nearest to it which are filled with hordes of tour
buses. A simple 1.5km (<15 min walk) from hotel to the parking lot
for Mont-St-Michel where you can pick up the free trolley over to the

The location is great. You can see Mont Sant Michel from the hotel! The hotel probably underwent renovations because the rooms are modern, new and nice! They also serve meals at their hotel which is a plus when you're at the country side where it's hard to find a restaurant or convenience store. The staff was nice enough to offer us another room (which I think is bigger) because our room was not ready yet. I would stay here again in a heart beat!
