Chambres d'Hôtes Château de Martragny - Fotos
Lo que la gente dice
Loved the whole place from the wonkey staircase to the cracks in the
ceiling. The antique furniture and the feel of the place. We had to
rooms Chambre Rouge was at the back and a good size with a new bathroom.
Chambre verte overlooked the front was slighly smaller and an older
style bathroom but both were clean and the beds comfy. The breakfast was
a continental and good value at 7 Euros. Would go back and use other
sites from the same group. todo comentarios »
Large rooms in old chateau. Comfortable beds & good facilities. Good breakfast.
Good access to main routes and easy access to Bayeux, Normandy beaches and other local amenities.
Exquisite place (authentic decoration, real "family castle" atmosphere), nice people, friendly swimming pool atmosphere, nice park for a walk.
Staying in an old(ish) Chateau, with great atmosphere. Rooms were simple but pleasant. Location near Bayeaux and Honfleur.
The charming French lady who provided breakfast with such kindness and
helpfulness.
Very comfortable accommodation and good value.
The chateau was old but beautiful.
Room and chateau.
The 5 bedrooms are located in a Chateau. There are extensive grounds and an open air swimming pool. The Chateau is about 10 minutes drive from Bayeux.
I loved the charm of the old. I loved the design of the chateau and gardens. I loved the spaciousness, quietness, and simplicity.
Location for touring WW2 sites & original house.
Note: This is very good value for money albeit the chateau is centrally located within a large campsite with all facilities/activity that entails - something that is not crystal clear from the ads. However that did not impact our stay at all.
Nothing.
Meals had limited choice and were expensive for what was provided. Restaurant staff a little overwhelmed by numbers.
He caravans parked immediately next door to the chateau.
The restaurant really lets this accommodation down. Service poor and bad value for money very little choice on menu. Poor quality and quantity of food (particularly if travelling with teenagers).
we could not get on the internet.
No heat in room
Many flies in room.
Not good for dining as menu was limited to 3 choices and there was
loud music.
Generally geared to their camping and caravan site.
The Chateau grounds are used for camping and caravanning and the reception for both the Chateau and camping etc is located in converted outbuildings.
Although the bedroom in the Chateau has recently been renovated there was aspects which still require work - i.e.:- th stone floor was uneven and breaking up, the windows and bedroom door need renewing.
I just wanted it to be a bit more "loved." A little updating could do magical things for the home.
Bed was uncomfortable.
