  The rooms are ok - but not the biggest.. ;-) The location is near the "main street" in Lourdes. "La Grotte" is 800m away - but you can walk through a street full of restaurants, pubs, ice bars, etc. - friendly and well-mannered staff. efficient and hazzle free check in and out.A pleasing stay.

  The location is absolutely perfect being only 10 mins walk from the Grotto but far enough away to be quiet and in direct view of the snow clad Pyrenees mountains.   This was my second year at the hotel while I was on a pilgrimage to Lourdes. It is peaceful, very clean, very safe, and most of all very friendly. I would not now consider staying at any other hotel in Lourdes. I am looking forward to going back again next August. If you are driving, forget the GPS, they keep changing one way streets and it can - Excellant location, only 10mins max (slow walk) to the sanctuary, thus, providing a tinge of quietness. Its near but not too near like just opposite the sanctuary kinda near. Excellant service from all reception staffs. Very helpful. Reception staffs being able to speak and understand english relatively well. English speaking travellers will have no problem in communicating with them. Very good and pleasant experience while at Helgon Hotel. Will def make Helgon my choice of hotel should i vi
