  Anne runs one of the most comfortable and friendly inns we've ever enjoyed. We've traveled extensively, and it's hard to find a place that makes you feel at home even as you enjoy the luxury of being on vacation. We loved our three night visit and would certainly return as it was a great base from which to explor - Very quiet location in the countryside, but very close to Chinon. Excellent place to use as base to explore the main wine appellations in the area. Owner is very nice and friendly. Very nice 19th century mansion. Excellent value. We will stay in the same place if we return to the Loire region.

  Our gracious hosts were welcoming and wonderful. The Chateau was lovely. It was situated on the banks of the Viennne River next to an 11th century church. The family suite was beautifully appointed with two connecting rooms. Beds were wonderful.
