Lo que la gente dice
We had a friendly, informative welcome from our excellent host, Alain,
who spoke pretty well perfect English. We have precious little French
and there were another couple staying with whom we shared dinner and
breakfast. They had no English but we had wonderful interaction because
Alain and his wife shared the table and skilfully translated for us. A
great evening. Alain and his wife prepared a very high quality meal for
a very reasonable price. I commend any visitors to have at least one
meal . todo comentarios »
We found Alan and his family very warm and friendly, We had called ahead of arriving to order an evening meal which was lovely. We ate with Alan and his wife who told us a lot about the local history and places to visit.
The room and facalities where excerllent and we both had a good nights sleep. In the morning the organic breakfast was delicious.
We would definitely stay again if we where in that area of France.
Alain, the host, was exceptional in all aspects of our visit. The rooms were spotless and extremely comfortable and stylish. A delicious breakfast was served the next morning.
In addition, Alain explained the history of the house and the relationship it had with Monet (as we were visiting Monet's house and gardens).
I hope to be able to return again in the future and for a longer stay.
A lovely historic property handy for Monet's Garden and Versailles. Host Alain Foucher could not have been more helpful and attentive. He will also provide a superb evening meal on request. It's well worth it. The African room was spotless and comfortable with a large bathroom and restricted view of the Seine. We would recommend this charming property and hard-working host to anyone.
A lovely welcome from Alain, who had great pride in his clean and well run B&B. The place is set in a tranquil environment and the rooms were very clean and showed attention to detail in the themed room. Alain prepared a lovely evening meal and the breakfast was ready for us at the time we asked. Great location for visiting Monet's Garden. A lovely find :).
Alain was a Gentleman in every sense of the word. He made our stay perfect and most comfortable. The meal he prepared for us was a most interesting combination of world cuisines. Exquisite! Lovely comfortable rooms in a magnificent situation and the prospects of another room for families to be developed shortly. All in all this B&B is very special.
The owner was very welcoming, providing a surprising history of the property. It can be seen in a painting by Monet, which made staying in the front bedroom (African theme) particularly special to us. The room and facilities were good. Breakfast was at a dining table shared with other guests and enabled us to have an interesting conversation.
Alain was very friendly and very helpful when we had car problems. We spent a very pleasant evening with Alain and his wife who served us a lovely meal with interesting conversation,Breakfast was also excellent, Rooms and bathroom spotlessly clean and comfortable,.It was very convenient for visiting the Monet, gardens at Giverny.
Alain was a wonderful host! only 2 rooms, so cozy and friendly. He prepared a great meal and sent us out exploring with helpful tips. It was a romantic, relaxing weekend- and only 10 minutes from Monet's garden and 30 minutes from one of my favorite castle sites now- Gisors.
Alain is a brilliant host making excellent food. Our room was very clean and filled with beautiful furniture. He was very informative about the area which made our stay even more exciting.Le Harve de Bennecourt is featured in one of Monet's work which was another supprise.
Alain is a very frienly and helpful host. His house has only two guest rooms which gives it a very friendly atmosphere. The house is located in the quiet country side and only 20 minutes from Monet's Garden in Giverny. A great place to stay.
We liked the friendly welcome and the meal prepared for us on our first
evening We liked that it was small ang qwerky and the owner is a
potter. We liked the fact it isn't a big hotel but a small family
run b and B.
Stay here when visiting Giverny! So close and so charming.Monet painted this old house a century ago!Our host,Alain,is a trained potter, great story teller(in English),excellent cook(arrange ahead of time),and guide.
Lovely old house with oaken beams built on the side of a cliff - but still has modern facilities. Very welcoming host.
Table d'hote is available and definitely worth booking as there are no local restaurants.
The warm cosy atmosphere, the lovely immaculate ancient building &
the hospiltality of Alain & his wife who ate with us,good french
country food & we felt like family. Near to monets garden.
I found the hotel and Bennecourt itself to be a very pleasant surprise. My host could not have been more friendly and helpful. A very interesting place to visit. Long may it stay just as it is.
Lovely old building with good modern facilities. We enjoyed the company of our charming host and wife at dinner where he told us all about the house's connection with Monet.
Stayed for two nights. Excellent host. House (depicted by Monet in a painting of his) full of beautiful things and finished with style. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
Owner was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, had chacacter. Bathroom as well fitted into limited space as possible. Nice breakfast.
Alain is a wonderful host; so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, with a lot of choice, and the one dinner we had was also great.
The wonderful hospitality of the host and service. Close to Giverney. Also includes inspection of a craft pottery in chalk hillside.
Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay. Host was friendly and provided helpful restaurant recommendations.
Very warm and friendly host. Fantastic home with a great history. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Excellent host and very stylish comfortable accommodation.
Very friendly staff, great location and nice breakfast.
Nothing.
There was nothing to dislike about our stay at Le Havre de Bennecourt. Only a very small thing.......... It would be nice if Alain's pottery, that is for sale, was priced up. People may be nervous about asking the price.
Nothing. a perfect weekend for us.
There is no restaurant you can walk to but the owner recommended good
restaurants a short drive away.
Finding the hotel and parking were challenging, given its location. Our host was available to help with both of these however.
Parking in courtyard is a challenge.
Having just the quilt and no top sheet.
