We just needed a quiet place where we could cook food, and rest between shopping and sightseeing, without carpets on the floor. Since we both have to avoid certain foods, the cooking and opportunity to keep food cold was essential. It was very cheap compared to other self-catering options, and the windows effectively shut out noise from the streets. There wasn't an endless party going on as in some hostels.

We weren`t able to come before 11pm, and wrote an e-mail about it to hotel, they send us number and passcode to keybox where I`d found my key when we managed to get there. It was nice.

Looked like it had seen its glorious days 30 years ago.

It's a nice and very quiet hotel in the centre of Helsinki. Great for anyone who wants to live right in the centre and very close to all the shops, restaurants and the Central Train Station etc. Not a luxury place but certainly does what it says on the tin. Very contemporary design. You get into the hotel with a door code which you also use for your room and the lifts.

I liked the location (next to the bus station and close to the center). There was a mini-fridge in the room and possible to get free coffee and tea. Breakfast was included. Because I left early in the morning they brought breakfast in my room night before. -

I was really impressed with the total abcence of staff on reception : you just get a SMS with the room number and key code for doors. Everything is already prepared - the look into the future ! :) -
Rooms are clean and comfortable. You have all you need - kitchen ware,
microwave, cooking oven, tea pot, good fridge, iron with a board etc.

Only 20 minutes from/to airport, no traffic. Clean, quite, few restaurants, bar and supermarket in the vicinity, 5-10 min. by walk. Good recommendations where to go and what to visit you can easily find in the room's guide. There is one computer in a lobby where you can use internet for free, or wi-fi in a room, but I'don't remember the price.

I stay in this hotel several times during some year. Good place for budget city trip. Near hotel location is small park. In the park we sow squrells and rabbits. Bus and tram staition, kioski, two supermarket, some coffe - all facilites on this place. Free internet is on reception, but only for one point.
