We booked a standard double room and it was very large with tall windows for ventilation, a high ceiling. The bathroom was at first glance very clean until I got in the shower and found mold on the grout between the tile. The shower was small & had a shower curtain the clung to your body :( (not very pleasant).

Although basic, everything you need is there in these self-catering apartments. The courtyard is a bit shabby but nice place to sit and eat. We went for the tall ships festival which was fantastic.

Large quiet rooms. I found it to be a sanctuary of quietness. Breakfast is nice and good value for what is provided (it isn't cheap, but the quality is high). Bowls of fruit on every floor. The location is good, an easy walk from the Station and to the city centre. Staff are lovely. -

Excellent facilities and the small balcony a good add on. The staff were really helpful and the small kitchen well equipped .The location is very convienent ,as is the parking. -
