We stayed in a building adjacent to the hotel. The room was spacious
even for us standards. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was not
just friendly but went out of their way to help us. Martin and Milan
were exceptional. They located a fly shop in Prague and gave us
instructions on how to get there. The restaurant was very good and we
thought good value. I don't have a lot to compare with but wines
were comparable to us wine store prices in the restaurant not a 2 or 3

Las estacias son muy acogedoras, luminosas y amplias.
El personal es fantástico te atienden inmediatamente a lo que les solicites, amáble solítcito, siempre tienen una sonrisa para ti.
El desayuno genial, todo fresco con bastante variedad, todo muy bueno y además te hacen a la carta tortilla o tortitas.
La limpieza no solo en la habitación sino el resto de estancias en el hotel es excelente.

We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

This was my third stay at Almandine. Lov it. Location is perfect, just off the main square and 5min walk from the Charles bridge. Easy to reach all the sites from here. Staff was so helpful, and the food was terrific. Apartments were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.

Everything! The room was very spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully finished. Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect, being close enough to all the main sites but being quiet enough to get away from the crowds. Being a smaller hotel, it felt like very personal service and attention to detail. They also brought us a bottle of wine when they knew it was my husband's birthday which was a very lovely gesture.

Staff was nice. Bed comfy. Room was large with large bathroom. Location was near the castle. And because it was up the hill, it was quiet (except when the men started weed-wacking at 7 am on Sat). We got lots of exercise walking up the hill instead of taking the bus (wore off the good Prague beer). Enjoyed Karlstejn's castle, too, and the Plzen Urquell beer tour. Check the English tour times before you go. We struggled with the German :-)
