I don't know about the bad reviews I read before the stay. Nice place, clean, comfortable, good staff that helped me everytime I needed it.... and if you don't mind the stairs issue, it's a very good choice.
15 min walk from Dubrovnik old town but the apartment is up about 1000 stairs!!!! Despite the climb, there is absolutely no view. Clean and comfortable.
There's 400 stairs between the maing gate (Pile Gate) and the apartment. But you get used to it.

The set up is odd.... If u chose double room, your bathroom will be across a corridor that other guests use to get to their apartment. Anyone had full access to the bathroom, despite the fact we had paid for a private bathroom. Quite expensive as far as home stays in croatia go but ok value for the area.
