  Having read the reviews on Castaway Resort, we were interested to see if they were really representative. Having now experienced the resort, we can say that everything you read is true. The accommodation isn't the Sheraton, but is extremely adequate with everything you could want. The location is great with a lovely beach to snorkel in.   Absolutely nothing. The hotel is old and tired...the room dirty...I slept on top of the bed for two days???the food was in edible? I object strongly to the high number of men acting as women. the whole vibe of the place was unclean. - How helpful and polite all the staff where, srvice and quality of the food

  What a lovely place to stay. Have been here for 15 nights. And everything was perfect. Arrived with a nightflight from Auckland Caryn picked us up at the airport. 20 minutes later we arrived at the Sunrise Bungalows. They are located directly on the beach. We hired a car for the duration of our stay and used Caryn’s place as a base from which to explore the island.
