Loved my stay at the Marriott, location is perfect as very close to Nanjing road and restaurants. Staff were helpful, receptive & professional. Facilities are of course top-notch and very high standards. I would stay here again.

The location of the hotel cant be better. Right in the middle of the
city, on the famous pedestrian street nanjing road and next to
people's park. Very easy axess to metro lines. Breakfast was rich
and the service was exellent. I need to mention our great view from our
room on the 37th floor as well.

I travel a lot in China and I was really surprised about the profesional and efficient staff. They look after the client and take time to answer the questions. For sure I will stay again in this hotel when I have to stay in Shanghai. -

Location, location, location!
I stayed here twice. The hotel is close to the train station - People's Square, exit 14. It's in walking distance to East Nanjing Rd without all the noise. You can also walk to the Bund really easily.
The staff are super friendly and speak English well. Breakfast was ok-good as it was included, no complaints there.

The ambience of the hotel was really good all through out the hotel, the
interior design from the lobby to the reception to the restaurants and
especially the rooms is outstanding.
The staff were very helpful and eager to serve in whatever way they can. From helping to arrange sightseeing tours or mapping out places to go, or picking up a taxi.
The staff spoke very good english, especially the concierge.

Everything was excellent: spacious and clean room, impressive lobby,
breakfast buffet with variety choices (both western and Japanese food),
good service and good location (close to the metro station and shopping
streets). We booked train tickets to Beijing and tickets for the
acrobatic show via business centre, this was very convenient. -

A very comfortable room in all ways, bed, bathroom etc. the pool was gorgeous, not crowded and great temperature. Also liked the spa before swimming. Loved the welcome plate of fresh fruit, chocolates and bottle of red wine. -

W stayed just one night in this gloriously comfortable hotel which was close to the airport for our onward flight. We ate vegetarian food in one of the private rooms in the Royal China restaurant and it was extraordinary and incredibly good value at £18 for several courses for both of us. The breakfast, likewise was the best we have eaten anywhere

Luxurious Rooms, Awesome Restaurant, Staff was extremely attentive. We had a wonderfull stay. We were awakened at midnight, opened our drapes and were treated to a wonderful display of fireworks right in front of our floor to ceiling windows. Chinese New Year Celebration. We just missed the shuttle bus and chose to take a taxi. I had no Chinese money. I went into the hotel and they paid the cab driver and then billed my credit card. This was good.
