Hotel location is in a good part of the city. The stuff is doing everything to satisfy customers. At first, we have been located to a room that we didn't like. We explained to reception our complaints and asked for room change. But unfortunately all same level rooms were occupied. Anyway, they have upgrated us to another room type and changed room

I loved the size of the room. 52sq. Meters. The bed was huge, which was great for us as the whole family fitted in. Sherpa's deliver there. A big plus for us as we can't go out with the children to eat in the evening. Their own restaurant was being renovated so breakfast was served in the adjoining cafe. A truely different place.My room was spacious and clean. The service
without a fault, the internet reliable and fast. The location
can't be any better - everything walking distance or short
inexpensive taxi ride. Lot's of old Shanghai nearby to explore by
walking. I will be back !!

The decoration and the minimalistic style, and it's new renovated. This time I had a great room at 18th floor with free wi-fi. Excelent view even from the shower :-). We are a mature couple and had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The breakfast was exellent in all respect. The interior of the rooms and lobby were more than our expectations. The help by the concierge and bell boy was wonderful. They arranged our city tour which was memorable. They helped writing in Chinese language for our taxi journey. We will cherish our 3 days stay for ever.

Well, everything. The room was better than advertised, the staff were
helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a pure treat...mostly
Asian, of course, but there was eggs and toast and oj and stuff
available, too. Delicious. Plus, the location is very, very good...a

The hotel is in a good location close to the walking street and two metro stations.The units are modern,comfortable and well appointed & equipped.The breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of tastes catered for.Metro line 2 is very handy for both shanghai airports and fast intercity trains

The "club" category rooms have impressive view over the Bund
and the City, especially the spot scene of Pudong by night. All the
complimentary services are also quite good (permanent access to soft
drinks, some small food, etc.).
Swimming pool in floor 21 is a big plus, for both view and relax after the hot summer weather.

It is the best possible location for a short stay in Shanghai. Visiting
for bussines but wanting to visit the attractions of the city, location
is best near the Chinese old part , Yu garden, Bund. The Club ideea is
wonderful, the view from club lounge is amazing. And the pool view is
wonderful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Concierge, Nicholas knows everything. He provided excellent recommendations for dining, made the reservations and provided directions. There are great dining options close to the hotel. The complimentary tea and coffee and cookies in the lounge 24 hours was a god -send after a day out in the Shanghai heat. Perfect for a mid-week getaway to Shanghai. The staff were welcoming,
helpful and accommodating. The decor of the hotel was ecelectic and
inviting, a real fusion of Asian and Modern. The bed were comfortable
and the room was lovely and spacious. The gym was well set out and
looked out over the river. It was so inspiring to look at Pudong all lit
up while running on the treadmill. The hotel put on a gorgeous

The location of this hotel is perhaps only surpassed by its design. The rooms are something else here! Very well thought out, they could well be the best I ever stayed in. I would also be surprised if the pool did not get any design awards. Awe inspiring! -

Staffs are very accomodating. Our fridge was bad, so they got us another
room. Room service was super fast and friendly and they spoke English.
Stayed there 3 times and service improves every time - kudos. The river
view was splendid - I gained some fame twitting a twilight pic of river

This is my favorite hotel in Shanghai. Before it belonged to Langham Group and service was better at that time. Guess now it is under Chinese management and service is slightly getting worse. But location, atmosphere, design is still perfect. -
