perfect location; in the middle between Old Town and Nanjing Road. Close to Pudong. Many small shops and restaurants of different classes in the neighbourhood... - Cleanliness. Great butler and bell boy service. Reception can be improved if they are a little friendlier. Housekeeping is great.

City hotel is in a very good position. Very close to lots of tourist
attractions and is very good for the local shopping which is right on
your doorstep. The hotel is clean and comfortable and quiet which is
great. 12 pm check out is a real help if you've visiting the local
bars at night ;) -

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was so spacious. The shower
was huge and had fantastic water pressure. -
Loved the big comfy bed, it was close to the main train station for our
departure and the breakfast was superb.

The staff were very helpful and showed flexiubility. This is my 5th time
at this hotel and its very consistent. The location is superb for both
business, shopping and sightseeing. The taxi guide is very helpful as
you can just show your location to the driver. And also show him the
hotel address for the return. -

... lo que la gente dice » rs and it's my favourite hotel in shanghai. I'm sure there are more luxurious but this is in a great area for eating and drinking. Rooms are big and clean and they are generous with upgrades. Just don't ever expect them to remember you've been before!

Very good location. It's in 5min walk from beautiful art district Tianzi Fang and in 5 minutes by taxi to club and restraunts area Xintiandi and other popular Shanghai areas. Hotel staff are sociable. Half of them know basic english. This is very comfortable. Girls on reception are very friendly and are ready to help to resolve any problem. - The room was comfortable, easy access to Subway #2.
