We only went there as a last-minute stopover in our way to Greece. We arrived after dark and left after breakfast. It was the best value for money we have ever received from a hotel. Sandanski is an excomunist city, meaning those ugly old building.
But the view is great. The city is quiet and great for relaxation. Full of mediteranian trees, has a very nice smell. Quite hot in the summer.

On way to our hotel in Greece, we had one night at hotel Adjev Han , Bulgaria.
Everyone was so kind and helpful all the time! Our room was very nice, as well as our breakfast and we paid a small bill! We really liked it and we stopped again on way back to Romania. -
