Nice atmosphere, excellent location, value for money ++++
The time of the breakfast. 8am-10.am. For those who want to do as much ski as possible, it's difficult to be at 8.30 (the starting time of the lifts) on the mountain. It would be better if the breakfast time started earlier. Being keen on skiing, when we asked at the reception to have breakfast a bit earlier, the answer was ''you have to wait''.
Friendly serving staff, excellent food & service, perfect location with mountain view and close to the cabin lift, pet's friendly excellent choice.

Hotel Ela is ideally located close to the Gondola lift and the village centre. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was included which gave a great start to the day. Could not fault hotel at all.

Very good for its price. Nice hospitable barkeepers, clean, large enough rooms. Suites with two separate bedrooms would be great for family with children. It isn't located near the slope but main gondola lift is about 300 meters, and main slopes about 7-10 minutes walking. Because of this it's much more quiet than other hotels but still very close to the lifts. Also, in Borovets there're no any hotels exactly on the slope, so you need to walk 3-5-10 minutes to lift from every hotel. Breakfast is simple and monotonous but good and tasty. I've read in earlier reviews that it was very small - no, now it's quite enough for skier. Billiard is very old, but nevertheless greater than such in Samokov Hotel.
Very loud music in lobby bar evenings. Breakfast is simple and monotonous - especially I was surprised by instant juice instead of natural.

Smell of tobacco smoke in room. Really was pretty awful - window open all the time!

Very unfriendly staff. Did not make any effort to communicate in English. We would never stay there again.
