Clean and tastefully appointed rooms. We were a mature couple travelling with our mature daughter. The owners son who I gathered worked on mainting the Motel was very pleasant and very much open for a chat whenever we encountered him which made us feel very much at home. i liked the location, the room, the kitchenette was great and the kitchen Sunbeam equipment was a bonus.
i cooked a lot of great meals.
the layout of the room was good,
it felt like home.
Laundry service was great.
and the Costumer service was FANTASTIC.
We came for 1 Night BUT we Stayed for 3 Nights Because we liked it so much.
Landscaping was great and the Herb plants on the gazebo ware a pleasantly useful.

We stayed in Thistle Hill for 2 night celebrating my partners birthday. I have visited Hunter Valley previously and have to say this Guesthouse is one of the top stays I have experienced. Beautiful decor with attention to details, Thistle Hill grounds are stunning, breakfast very tasty with great choice of food, and Carol's baked pears just delicious!! We will definitely come back later this year.

The staff were very friendly and helped as soon as they could when our Foxtel did not work. Ironed out the problem and gave us two bottles of wine for waiting for it to be fixed. The spa is lovely outside. Very clean unit with good views towards trees and hills. Close to walk to Main Beach. The unit had a lovely front verandah and one out the back

Clean and comfortable 2 bedroom unit. Kitchen was well-stocked and had space to move around in. The view to the south and west from the lounge in Unit 1 is good. Good value. Would stay again.

A very fine ambience in this delightfully restored winery. Complimentary port or muscat in the Great hall with two wood fires blazing was a relaxing way to end a day's driving. Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived.

Fantastic place to stay with such a gorgeous room. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we wanted to stay forever. The vases of flowers were exquisite in our room and in the communal dining room.
We were greeted upon arrival with homemade cookies by the owner. The villas were immaculate as were the beautiful gardens. -

Easily reached, very quiet location with wonderful elevated views over golf course to surrounding countryside. Not crowded by any other nearby buildings, but close to Albury CBD and services. Room and en-suite exceptionally spacious with comfortable lounge. Excellent, very reasonably-priced meal from nearby golf club restaurant. -

The room was very clean and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities, and staff at reception were at once professional and friendly. I especially liked the way the buildings are designed to make this motel look like everything but a motel, and a lot more like a series of pavilions scattered around a peaceful garden.
