  With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. The studio was very well equipped kitchen, bathroom and comfortable large bed. We over looked the garden with barbecue ,garden and pool. The staff are very friendly and recommended and booked days out for us. Would defiantly stay again. Port Douglas is a relaxed small town with great bars and resteraunts and good shopping.and the accommodation is in easy walking distance. The beach is a 5 minute walk.

  Pip and Trevor were very welcoming, the pubs, restaurants, and shops are right there at the front door step. It was a great place to stay with all the facilities you need.   We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our 2 bedroom appartment - it was very spacious, had air-con., large kitchen and laundry facility - a must for families! The kids (9 and 11) also loved the pool.The price was great and we loved the location - walking distance to food, harbour and Wild Life Habitat.   We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a spa on the balcony. Apartment had everything we needed was clean and the spa was a nice relaxing addition. The bed was more comfortable than my own. The owners Sheryl and Bob were lovely and advised us on tours and booked us into them. Would stay at the Regal again if I were to return t - Sheryl and Bob are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are always willing to have a chat and pass on their experience of port Douglas and the activities in North Queensland. The room is enormous! Lovely king sized bed. Good lounge and dining facilities. The hot Tub on the balcony was an unexpected bonus. The pool area is very nice although there are some quite big and unexpected drops in the pool floor levels. Regal is ideally placed 25m off Macrossan St. It is a 3

  Port Douglas is a relaxing place with plenty of things to do with the kids! Trips to the Daintree, Mossman Gorge, Kuranda, Great Barrier Reef and plenty more. We had an amazing time and will be back again soon. - Room with direct access to pool was a fantastic feature, great kitchen well equipped and a pleasure to cook in.
