  Everything. From the design, color of the motel to the interior layout. The motel looks retro and the layout of the room is modern. Its very clean, spacious, comfortable and new. They just had the upper level renovated. Simply love it. Diane was very kind, helpful and friendly. She made us feel like home. Thank you so much - A lovely retro-styled hotel,excellent location if you are flying out of the Gold Coast airport (the room fee includes a free airport transfer). Also very good when coming off a late night flight - there are always cheap supplies in the room (noodles, cup-a-soups, hot water jug), great if you are coming off a 1 am flight! Otherwise, lovely hotel, would love to come and stay there for a quiet summer beach break! We stayed at La Costa several times already, and service and comfort have always been

  The motel room was nicely refurbished with modern designs and quality fittings & furniture. It was very clean & tidy and had a very comfortable bed. It is within walking distance to Pacific Fair, Draculas Theatre Restaurant & Casino. Would recommend this Motel to anyone who wants a nice comfortable place to stay for short visit - Extra helpful staff going the extra mile. Offered to help me clean up my car after someone threw up in it. So, so, comfortable unit and wonders upon wonders a fridge and hot beverage making facilities. Lovely spacious room and bathroom and the bed was a dream! Just a very short stroll to Pacific Fair and Jupiters Casino.

  Good location for travellers driving through the area. Lots of little things that showed the owners cared, and put the effort in to make you feel comfortable. - upgraded room was nice. Service was friendly, and good Access to highway was good room provided was relatively quiet from traffic noise

  Very friendly and helpful staff. The motel's rooms have been renovated and they look and smell awesome. The fact that I was able to have my dog around was so good and it made me very happy.   I booked in for my wife & I. We are regularly on the Gold Coast for medical treatment my wife has regularly. Manager was Extremely Helpful & friendly. What a Marvelous change. Rooms are Big, kitchenette bathroom etc brilliant and Clean. Bed was Lovely and comfortable. Rooms are no smoking, great, and outside every room is table, chairs and... lo que la gente dice » ashtray. Lovely surrounds pool and laundry. WIFI for your lap top pc's. Off street parking. I Highly recommend this Motel and we will definitely stay - Repeat visitors here. We love the place. Once again, ( room 4 ) fantastic, clean big and comfortable. Close to beach, public transport, shops etc. What more could you ask for. We stay here each time we travel to the Gold Coast for medical treatment my wife receives. 1st Class Motel at budget price. Well Done :)

  I loved the locality sooo close to most good things on the Gold Coast. We ate out at the local Mermaid Beach Surf Club which was great. Free wifi was an added bonus. Good laundry facility with outside clothesline. Yes I would stay there again for sure. - I had a very good trip because i chose the right accommodation!   Friendly and obliging staff. Always greeted us with a smile and a chat especially Elizabeth, mother of the owner. Location was handy to beach and was within a short walking distance of shops - The owners are warm-hearted,the bus stop is just outside the motel,very easy to catch a bus to the city and airport
