The accomodation was very comfortable and a fairly short walk to the beach. There was a good variety of restaurants/shopping facilities near the hotel. The hotel ownrs were very pleasant and helpful and happy to make suggestions regarding where to eat and what to do etc.

Good clean and quite large room. Friendly couple running the motel. Free
laundry room located on the premises. Swimming pool which was at the
front of the motel behind a high brick fence for privacy which was good.
Quiet with a close proximity to everything needed, bakery, chemist,
supermarket. Hotel at the end of the road Hoey Moey? Had meals for $8.50
which were good quality and serving size.

The managers, Conan and Kim were very friendly. Conan carried our luggage up the one flight of stairs for us. The room that we had, although not large, had everything that we needed including a two burner stove top, a microwave and a small oven/grill. Wonderful warm welcome when we got there very friendly..lovely spacious
and clean rooms..they had everything all we needed was our clothes..they
had toiletries etc..had a great pub on corner $8.95. Lunch or dinner

We'll certainly keep the Sanctuary in mind if we ever want to escape again, but don't want to travel too far...lol -

We would highly recommended this clean, cozy place to travellers. Our room was the cheapest and yet it was spacious and spotlessly clean. The place is very close to major roads so traffic noise is inevitable until it slows down around 10 pm, but our windows sealed it off just fine anyways. The room was the cleanest we have seen in a long time and

Arrived well before the book in time; not a problem. Manager Chris more than happy to accommodate; in fact we were even given a unit upgrade at no extra charge. Very friendly and decent management; unit was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Will definitely be staying there again in the future.

The staff were fantastic, especially those at breakfast. I didn't catch the girls name who was there both mornings yet she was helpful, polite and accommodating.
