  We liked the room outside the pool (223) rather than the room we stayed in on 5/6/2013. It was perfect location (both room and hotel) and lovely and clean and comfortable.   Staff were very friendly, helpful & very welcoming. My friend and I had booked separately - on arrival, staff offered to move me to a closer room. When I found the air-con out of order in that room, they happily moved me again.   We booked a standard room but were upgraded to a spa room because we had about a 15 minute wait booking in due to a couple of slow elderly customers in front of us. It was nice of the hotel to do that even tho the delay was not the receptionists fault as she patiently dealt with the other customers. Reception staff very helpful. - The location - the IGA (grocer), bottle shop, Broome Museum, local bus stop and a souvenier shop are just across the street. The town beach and a cafe are a 5 min walk away and has a children's playground, wet and dry. A leisurely walk to town takes about 25 min. Two fantastic pools, onsite restaurant and plenty of parking and importantly, there are lifts!

  This was the first time I had stayed in a B & B, usually preferring the anonymity of a hotel. Maryanne made me feel very welcome and it was nice to chat with the other guests. Would highly recommend Ochre Moon - We liked the facilities available to us at the b & b. Our room was spotless and comfy, bathroom large and clean. A full kitchen, outdoor settings, barbeque facilities and a pool were all available for our use. Wonderful.

We had completed a 15 day tour of the Kimberley and had stayed in Broome before.

Also we liked the fact that we could catch a local bus outside the hotel door. Staff were very helpful and it was good that we could leave our luggage whilst we were on a 5 day tour and we weren't even offically checking in until our return from the tour.
