It is a very quaint, older facility but very clean and cozy. We were only passing thru for one night. Wish we had more time would be a great place to stay for a long weekend, pool, small beach with beach chairs and lake with canoeing and paddle boats. Lake view and grounds with lit area's at night and seating area's at lake were very nice and inviting. Would definitely stay there again. Loved the pool and lake. Owners were great, guests were great. My kids went fishing for the 1st time and caught a ton of fish. They both cried when we had to leave. It's 'quaint' and I knew that before we arrived. It was everything I expected & then some. Great location to Legoland. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We rented 2 adjoining rooms as we stayed with our daughter and grand children. We spent our evenings in the pool and talking on the porch.We visited Lego Land' which was very close. perfect for family stays. We enjoyed our stay at lake Roy beach inn. It was very cozy! We only stayed one night for quick trip to Lego land. It is very close to the park! We would return! Very clean and comfortable. The room did not look like the picture online. It was even better!!!. everything was very nice, great close to legoland when we had rain showers we returned to lake roy. when the showers ended we went right back to legoland.great eateries across the street and shopping too!. Owners were VERY nice, helpful and friendly. Anxious to cater to our every need. They even helped the children with their continental breakfast while we loaded the car. Nice people. The room was awesome, comfortable and had microwave and fridge that we needed. The owners were very friendly. We love the lake view plus it was 5-10 minutes away from LEGO Land. The price is right and the hotel is very conveniently located for Legoland. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Lakeside view and pool area are very attractive. I love this place, the people were so nice. Facilities were clean. Peaceful and relaxing and a beautiful view overlooking the lake. Very friendly. Paddle boating was fun. The beach area was relaxing and the pool was awesome. Very close to everything!!!!. I had a gray time staying there very friendly personal and my next vacation I will stay there again. the view of the lake/ pool , very relaxing the grounds were beautiful. location; setting; pool; kitchen well appointed. the double rooms and closeness to Lego Land. Pool and lake side was very relaxing. Continental breakfast Refrigerator. room,pool,parking,helpfull staff. the laid back atmosphere. The lake view, pool and gardens were good although the voleyball court and plant containers were starting to look shabby. Room was very clean. Room was spacious with screened in porch and pretty lake view. It was also clean and convenient to LegoLand. The price was good. Hotel was very close to legoland and the lake was nice h. location , pool , brecfast good ,. Location and lake front area. we were supposed to go to legoland and decided to stay there because its a next door place. Room was almost clean but smelt javelle View on the lake is great and they have great garden to enjoy the view in the evening. Location. Not muchd. Beds were a little harder than our liking but may be fine for others, depends on your preference. We were on the 2nd floor & the outside steps were a bit slick. Wish we would have spent the extra money for the larger room with kitchen on the ground floor. My one and only suggestion would be curtains on the front windows. The hall light is very bright and shines right in the room as well as the fact that sometimes when at a hotel sleeping in is great and we were up with the sun bc of the front window. the continental was amble however their dog was let out through the breakfast foods area which was not to my liking. Lack of dark out drapes to also aid with privacy. The blinds in our room were not totally private. The parking was a bit tight and hard to find parking on the weekend. Property really needs a lot of cosmetic work to cover some of the aging structure. It could be cleaned up and made really nice by an energetic and dedicated handyman. This place need a little more maintenance but other wise enjoyable. A little run down, needs upgrading, but for the price I will stay again. Thank god no cockroaches. The breakfast wasn't so good could of been better. the breeze way was alittle messy, not enough shampoo/soap in room. furniture was dated - as in could use new mattresses/pull out sofa. Blinds let in a lot of outside light from the balcony there was also a lot of traffic noise. breakfast,tv station not kid friendly. little rundown. Although it was nearly empty we were put next to an extremely noisy group of people, who had no regard for other guests. The walkway next to the office meant a walk past a filthy sink, which was off-putting. Overpriced. The facilities were outdated and we could hear traffic noise from the room. We could also hear neighbors talking in next room late at night. Breakfast was not very good. Hotel NEEDS an update better maintance the fence for the pool was fix by tiestraps.The worst part was i tried to cancelled my stay within the 24hrs but the hotel has a 2 week cancellation policy.I was charged the amount for the room,so called i had to rebook the room 25.00 other wise lose the money.I won't b be staying there agin. parking tight , dated hotel, grounds and beach needed to be cleaned .fence around pool broken. closed to restaurants. phone did not work , faxing. The air condition was broken and we were not offer another room or a solution. We were just ask to take the money and leave or stay with out AC. owners are not really friendly breakfast was not open before 8am the first day and finally we were lucky that day ! because we went on the breakfast room the second day, furnitures were really dirty and coussins are smelly !! keep your shoes to walk on the carpet in the rooms. the motel is close to the highway so a little bit noisy by night. Roaches coming out of shower drain,no water upon arriving back at night from lego land, upgrading to over $100 per night , door draging ground was hard to get open, no light in closet, toilet took forever to fill, noway to print documents to office. It was a lot of money for very little. We requested to stay 2 hours longer than checkout and were told we would be billed 1/2 day charges. The inn was empty. We were the only ones there. Room needed updating, Shower was patched up and blinds were broken. Dirty poor quality breakfeast very very poor. The place was a first class dump. But it was clean. Would not go back, even if it was free.
