This particular Best Western is the best I have experienced in Canada and the US to this point. I mostly have had good experiences at all Best Western Hotels. What I appreciated this time in a financial way is that I set up our stay online from Canada. It was to be $90 for a Thursday and Friday night stay. Although there were two weddings at the hotel while we were there plus one Baptism (I'm pretty sure) but we were granted a room for another night (Saturday) but the manager was confused at th.
all reviews » The room was spacious and well appointed, very clean. Complimentary full breakfast. Great pool and spa. Nice workout room. Great views. Sits back off highway so it is quiet. Plan to stay there again. Manager was visible/accessible. Staff very attentive to guests needs and able to answer questions about the area. Didn't want to leave. everything we have stayed there at least 3 or 4 times now and have never been disappointed..The food the staff the beautiful walkway in the back.everyone very helpful and always very polite. The hotel was clean and comfortable with great service. It offered great value. The location on the top of a hill provided amazing views. Staff were very pleasant. Dining staff attentive. "Free" breakfast a great bargain. Hot, fresh food, nicely presented. Front desk found a room, which was reserved 2 weeks in advance. Close to hospital where we were going. It was quiet. I was there recuperating from surgery done at area hospital and my room was very quiet. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast was great and the grounds were in excellent condition. It was clean, comfortable, well equipped. We came away refreshed, rested, and well fed. We have stayed here numerous times and find it very comfortable and friendly. No machine to make waffle. Variety wasn't as good as many other Best Westerns we have stayed at. Some of the food ordered in the Bar at night was not as hot as we would have liked. Getting to the hotel is a little difficult, perhaps some better signage to direct us there from the city's downtown core would have helped. Nothing. There was a mixup with my reservation.I had to go on the computer to get the reservation number.The Jucuzzi was not clean and the jets were not working. Everything was good. Could only stay one night. having to leave no garbage bags in the room,luckily i had plastic bags in car. pillows. The Hot Tub was out of order and one need more non smoking rooms. Our toilet stopped up several times. The girl at the front desk was downright miserable and needs to look for a job where she does not have to deal with the public. Pub did not open until 3PM on Sunday, so had to get a cab and go somewhere else to watch the game. The hotel is under construction and being turned in to a Holiday Inn. When we looked out of our window, we were looking at the scaffolding on the side of the building.
