It's a cheerful place, well maintained, rooms are clean and cosy. The staff (or probably they were the owners) was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, our visit was too brief and we didn't have chance to enjoy the swimming pool which looked nice and clean. The location is good - it's a short 3 min drive to the beach and there is a good seafood restaurant next door. Kamal was very accomodating and helpful. Nice little pool and convenient location. A power transformer blew while we were there, which caused power and a/c problems for about 10 hours and utility company didn't fix and the a/c didn't come back on until 12:30am. They did the best they could dealing with cranky guests. For the money, a pretty good deal.
all reviews » The hospitality, friendly staff, they provided a five dollar round trip shuttle to the beach which was a nice touch. If I drive myself it would have been twenty five dollars to park. Location was excellent close to shopping and dining places. Room was very clean and the staff provided soap and shampoo each day. Many positives! Comfortable, clean place to stay. Close to beach (5 minutes), food (good place next door even), shopping, main routes in all directions on the Cape, etc. Centrally located to site-see this beautiful piece of America. the desk person was very nice. not sure if he was the owner but he was very helpful. great take out or eat in restaurant right next door. very convenient . room was well kept and clean. will stay there again. The air conditioner was very noisy, I couldn't sleep with it working and the window wouldn't open (we stayed on the first floor). The bed was somewhat uncomfortable-a little too hard for our taste. The room had double beds. We stayed four days and have nothing to claim that we did not like. Owner Kabal was friendly, yet didn't want to be bothered with too many questions. The mattress was very thin and there were no blackout shades or curtains. No clock radio for alarm set available. the bath towels were too small and no breakfast available. Bed was a little hard but it was ok. only one very small waste basket in room. usually find tissues in room--not here. Linens could be new(they were clean, just worn) sheets and towels. I wouldn't want to vacation on. Rt 28. Minor - no kleenex, iron or ironing board in room (not sure if available in office). The towels could have been a bit thicker but they were clean and plentiful. Stairs to upper floor. Beds were kind of hard. Not open for coffeee until 0800, old style TV. TV was small, no coffee pot, had to ask for and iron and ironing board, which was easily provided. The television set was very small . Uncomfortable beds. Very small. a clock. I do not like the difference between price I paid online $169 and final build $88. It was a very clean budget hotel. The pillows weren't comfortable and the hot water took a while to come on. Old facility,with low quality furnishings. But well maintained. The mattress was hard. Towels were small, lack of pillows.TV Was small and old. Old and in bad need of an update. Not sure how this was rated excellent. Very basic accomodatioms. no phone no clock small room. The most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. Towels were only large enough for a newborn. Toilet had poor flushing power.
