This place did everything to make you feel at home and there were no "hidden" charges. The owner met us for breakfast in the morning and personally prepared a cuppachino for me. The place is close to Brandeis University but also very easy to get into Boston via public transport. The neighborhood featured some wonderful restaurants within walking distance. I am a clean freak and believe me this place was spic and span.
all reviews » Clean and quiet are my two biggies. CSH was both. What amazed me was the level of service. Breakfast was wonderful with specialty coffees and real eggs. The owner and the managers and staff were so gracious and helped with everything we needed. Thank you for providing a memorable stay for us and our kids from Waltham. You even let the kids (4 of them) have a gratis breakfast with us twice. With hot chocolate. WOW!. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to assist in any way possible. I left clothes in closet and they mailed them back to me. Really nice rooms, and delicious daily breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised, Michael, the owner, has traveled extensively and has brought all of his experience into the Crescent Suites Hotel. I would highly recommend it. It's ideal for any traveler. The owner was helping his staff with the free breakfast that they provide customers. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was very friendly, and the cappuccino was fresh. George and every one of his staff was so friendly and nice. The place felt like a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. The place truly felt like a second home. Flexible & accommodating staff, wonderful breakfast, spacious & comfortable, home away from home as promised. The convenient location, large well equipped rooms, VERY clean. Good breakfast and excellent coffee choices. Clean rooms. Nothing. The property was so well taken care of and the living spaces both indoors and out were well manicured and defined. I can't think of anything I didn't like. We had a handicap accessible room and the shower leaked all over the floor, but I'm not sure what can be done about it. I felt bad using so many towels to mop up! Next time I'll ask for a normal room. and perhaps get a sofa or loveseat. I missed that. nothing. Nothing. reception is very non professional. She was on the phone and took over 5 minutes (I actually timed this) to even acknowledge that I was there. Kind of an odd location.
