The bed was as comfortable as the one we have at home, to include quality sheets. The bed was so comfortable that we can't evaluate the breakfast, because we slept in. We put out the "do not disturb" sign, which we've done at other hotels. Frequently, we've gotten an 8:00 a.m. knock on the door, in spite of the sign and the 11:00 a.m. clock out. Not here! We loved it!. I loved how the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. And the convienence of a microwave and fridge was nice also...the man that helped me at front desk was very nice and it was a fast check in..
all reviews » Location is right off I 35 at the location of the new stadium. Rooms were clean. Staff was pleasant. Great bargain. the room was great. the staff (one guy) was also great. Great value and very clean and comfortable room. The overall feel of the place. Comfortable bed and room. It was quiet and clean. It was comfortable. The room was nicee. Excellent price. I liked it all. not pleased with having to ask for normal things, such as having enough towels for everyone registered. Having bucket for ice. easy access off 30. huge room. really cool near retro lamps in room. fridge & micro. huge bathroom. The location is proximate to Baylor University and activities related to homecoming. It was charming, cute from the outside and overall clean, I'd stay there again. The room was clean and comfortable. The night clerk was very pleasant. The front receptionist was very kind and helpful. Location near Baylor; good view from the room. Very clean inside. It was affordable and conveniently located. Location. I did not like anything at this hotel!. It was the only thing with a vacancy. nothing. There was really nothing to not like except the toilet seat would pinch me every time I sat on it needs to be updated.. Older fixtures. Remodel still left hard to use shower fixture. Holes from some previous TV in top of dresser. The continental breakfast was weak. (basically cereal, toast and coffee, no tea). Not much in the way of amenities, but considering the room value, I understand. issues with the door lock. Nothing. The breakfast was very limited. Nothing to complain about. broken fixtures in bathroom,reefer that had broken controls. But mostly having to Smell old trash in cans outside door ,that was not picked up for the two days we were there. Wasn't dirty but didnt feel sparkly clean either. furniture- couch & ottomans were stained & didn't appear or feel as if they had been cleaned recently. nothing horrible by any means. I was not given the correct room with 2 beds the first night and had to move to another room during the second day. It required waiting for the room to be cleaned; that took time from visiting the campus to see all the new facilities. Room 110's fan was seized up so when you turned the light on in the bathroom you could just hear the high pitched hum of the motor burning up. Also my fiance found a washrag hanging on the shower rod that neither of us had put there so that was a little shady. They were under construction. The continental breakfast was not so good. The clerk on duty at that time I had to go get to make coffee as more of the customers came in. Not much selection. There really wasn't a continental breakfast because they were out of milk and other things. Our only complaint was the property owners lived below the room we were in and the complained that we were too loud when we were only walking (not jumping or stomping). No hot water in sink (had to get on knees to wash face in tub water); smell of smoke very strong; mildew stains on sheets; furniture in disrepair; unable to access internet. The outside building look very ugly and dirty. I found garbaje around upstairs in the parking lot. I didn"t like this hotel. Inside the room,We found some spot in the comforter. My son didnt used. We used sheet to cover us. We were out of light for few hours .the city has some electricity problems. The free breakfast was lousy. Noise from the traffic on the overpass right beside the motel. Old bathroom fittings, (Tap would not turn off!) Bath looked to old and dirty to use. Staff was unfriendly, rushed to leave, and unhelpful WIFI only worked in the lobby breakfast was only toast, and lack of it. felt like I was more of a bother than a guest. Tv, Phone, WiFi and outlet in restroom did not work. Came home late after a function to find door open. My room had a very bad smell, roaches crawled on the desk and refrigerator. The bed covering smell and the king size bed was very uncomfortable. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Filth, insects, stains, smell, ad said flat screen, breakfast, wifi, all untrue. dingy towels, roaches, had to change rooms because the room, had mildew shower curtain and the room smelled like urine. Rooms not clean and smell of stale smoke place like a building site no breakfast provided, unable to find my reservation it took to long after a long flight from uk, certainly would not book again on line, learnt a lesson dont pay till you see the room.
