I checked in late and the clerk was able to find my reservation, get me checked in, provide the wifi code (without being asked!), and answered all my questions. The breakfast room had bagels (other things, too, but bagels are easily portable) and good coffee to start the day. The shuttle made it easy to get to the conference in plenty of time each morning. My stay was quiet and comfortable--exactly what I needed.

Awesome warm outdoor pool. close to highway & restaurants. easy driving distance to downtown Portland for a city trip, way nicer than anything in this price range in the City. I enjoyed that it was so close to the fireworks in Vancouver. We got to see the fireworks and then we did not have to get stuck in traffic on the way home. Excellent breakfast the next day. The room looked like it was new (kept up very well). It was very clean. The location was perfect. The hot continental breakfast. Breakfast was good with a great variety. Plenty of parking. The staff were very nice. efficient, friendly staff. nicely appointed room & excellent value. highly enjoyable accomodations with a reasonable pricing tier. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. breakfast was good, location is very good. pool, sauna, steam room, refrigerator. Very Accommodating to our group. Adequate budget hotel where everything (bed, bath, cleaning, night time noise level) works well and is reasonably priced. Vancouver itself has some smalltown dine/entertainment/shopping options within walking distance. Tiny fitness room (weights, bicycle, threadmill) and small laundry. Helpfull staff. I would come back. It was a pleasant room and amenities. Nice to be close to downtown. staff. Even though they were tiny the two saunas were a nice option. Location. We needed a stay close to I5 to continue our trip next morning. breakfast closes early. I did not like the fact that when we were trying to go to sleep, people were setting off fireworks. This made it hard to go to sleep. The hot continental breakfast was out of food when I arrived there at 7:00 AM. There was no orange juice at all for breakfast. Smelled like cigarette smoke inside the non-smoking room. There was no shower curtain in place until I called for one which was delivered quickly. The towels were extremely linty indicating age and poor quality. better in room coffee (starbucks?). all I expected. The TV picture was terrible- snowy and very hard to see. It was a flat screen but was analog so the picture was bad. tv stations were too limited and internet connection was not very good. Needed special door key from front desk for public restroom. Luggage carts were very awkward to use and to small. Beds a bit soft and sheets thin. AC/fan unit had strong odor--needs deep cleaning/filter replacement. Free breakfast room to small to accommodate numerous guests--needs standing counters or better food pick-up routing/lines. Onsite restaurant is Black Angus across the parking lot--no breakfast service. they gave my boyfriend the wrong room key when his name was on the right room. shower ran very hot and very cold. did not hold even temptature. Breakfast (standard budget hotel quality) is highly disorganized, get what you can and bring it to your room. If going to Portland you need to drive for 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. There was a major mixup and we only got a room for 1 of the 2 nights booked. This is after it was paid for. This was a terrible inconvenience in every way. The breakfast room could have been laid out better. Booked online through a discounter. Always get a noisy room near the back door when you do this, whether hotel is full or not. Room had a bad odor also. Breakfast ok, but could you provide whole grain bread for toast? One day the only fruit was unripe pears and maybe wa apples, not that popular anymore. Te oranges, when available were very good. Temperature control was off, so room was too warm; volume control on tv remote didn't work, so no way to change volume; digital display on clock had lights out, making it difficult to tell the time. Breakfast was horrible. Threw away my eggs and sausage, just ate oatmeal. No in room movies, front desk said they were having issues. Pool was outdoors and tiny. Sauna/pool area had dirty towels everywhere, but no clean towels. 1.A receptionist could not find our reservation and didn't care to look up by the booking number. She hesitated to phone another hotel of the same chain close by to see if they had rooms. We had nowhere to go, and it was past midnight. It turned out my last name was spelled wrong, she blamed letsbookhotel.com. 2. Breakfast room is awful! Very small and badly organized.
