Very comfortable, clean and spacious rooms - best out of all of our west coast budget hotel stays. Nice clean pool and hot-tub (although if they added some tropical trees/greens) to the deck it would distract better from the parking lot and road. Best continental breakfast of our entire trip, nice large breakfast room with lots of tables and very neatly maintained - very close attention to restocking items, pizza place next door-hence they deliver for free,.
all reviews » We had to cancel because the prison went on lockdown. When we called to cancel they were very kind & understanding. We will stay there when we come to Susanville ....soon. A very nice place with excellent personnel. I feel the value for dollars spent was very reasonable. Enjoyed the breakfast. It was clean & they had a breakfast that my family was pleased with. That's not always easy to do. Nice, clean rooms with all the amenities. Value. Great pool! Food places close by!. It was well located and the breakfast was above average and a nice area to eat. I loved our room and the tub had a spa .loved it everything. Size of room, fridge, microwave, beds,TV, bathroom, wifi. Quiet quaint breakfast w/many choices helpful staff. Convenient to family. Everything at this hotel was great, but it was a bit more pricey than our other budget stays. For us the town was a stop to break up the drive back to Canada from L.A. I would not have stopped here had it not been a halfway point for us. Some people were smoking by the pool which made the experience less than stellar, but that was my only issue. The hotel was great!. One reason I stayed was the advertisement of an exercise room and spa. The exercise room has three machines and all are broken. The spa is a hot tub no bigger than the one on my patio and this for a motel. After cleaning the room reeked of a peculiar and very unpleasant odor and windows had to be opened. It was not good value at all. nothing it was all good. Limited selection of cable TV stations. &Quot;exercise room" was extremely limited pool is advertised but wasn't open invasion of baby ants in my room. Nothing. hard to say. They could open/heat the Hot tub for winter guests. Also, signs all over saying No Pets yet there were several. Even a growling one in the room across the hall.
