The young woman at front desk was very helpful and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. The exercise room was o.k. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of foods. Bathroom very nice and modern. Sound accommodation , pleasant staff ; fast food , pizza and sandwich shop in very close proximity. Morning breakfast fully satisfactory. Good old fashion coffee . The front desk staff was very fast and friendly even though there were a lot of people checking in at the same time. The bed was extremely comfortable and fluffy!.

I strongly recommend this budget hotel as great value for money. They have a good shuttle service to and from the Staten Island ferry. Hotel was nice overall. Good breakfast, close drive to ferry to city. Good water pressure in the shower. Comfy bed. Breakfast was adequate. The room was clean and cofortable and the breakfast was good. The area and staff were able to get us a room even if it wasn't what was requested. When I complained at 1:30 AM the security guard came up fairly quick to asked them to keep it down. It was quiet. Was even able to check in a few hours early. Front staff was exceptional! A young lady went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The breakfast area was almost empty and the attendant was nowhere to be seen for the first 20 minutes or so. Then suddenly a lady appeared to restock everything. We did get breakfast, but it took a lot longer than I wanted to spend. Room rate was a bit high. But worth it. Some rooms were smaller than most. Our small room was so tiny that I needed to go outside to change my mind. There is no bar and no restaurant. The morning breakfast does not provide hot food. Noise carries somewhat from room to room. Rooms are a bit cramped. Parking very limited if hotel is busy. While using the shower, the shower head became loose & detached from its holder & launched itself like a rocket within the shower. Nonthing. A large group of college students were staying there. They were very loud in the hall all night and I did not sleep well. Perhaps the staff could have kept better control of this. crowded location. Nothing to do near by and no food after 10pm. Nothing. I wish they had better monthly rates. Rooms were very small. Had to take smoking room even after we requested non- smoking. Rooms were very small would not recommend staying with children. Rooms were small, ice machine and vending machines in basement instead of on all floors, only one handicapped parking space. Wrong room again, doors very noisy and cardboard you can ear people talking all night in alway and their answer to security "we will try" and not go downstairs, lobby or cafeteria. No amenities and at breakfast they run out of certain items i.e.: orange juice. Air dryer not working and not replaced. Money versus what is the minimum expected not even met. I can go on but... small room. I wouldn't recommend this location if your desire is to visit Manhattan. The wonderful public transit system of NY is not as great on Staten Island. Plus the hotel is a little ways from the nearest bus stop. I did not want to walk from there late at night with my wife, so we rented a car to get to and from the SI Ferry. There was a strong offensive smell in hallway. Smelled like carpet cleaner and vomit.Carpets in need of changing. Room was dingy and too small. Air conditioning smelled of burnt hair. I have seen other comfort Inns It looked very run down. My daughter was uncomfortable with accommodations. Small rooms No amenities Unusual shower control Very noisy (no sound deadening between walls and rooms) Not enough parking. Rooms Very Small closet tiny for two people generally cramped and crowded. Room very small, elevator very slow and free breakfast midiocre at best and towels were poor quality. The size of the room is absurd. it was noisy like it was built with cardboard. Was not very clean, found wet towels hanging on the back of bathroom door.Fan cover missing. Not very friendly, very loud hotel people yelling in hallway at all hours of the night. Would not stay there again. The rooms are very, very small. The was hardly any space to fit our three suitcases. Furthermore, the breakfast was very limited and ended already very early. Overall the hotel does not offer good value for money. The room was the worst I have ever stayed in. It wasso small we almost had a panic attack. Staff was not helpful at all.
