This is an inexpensive motel, and I've been to the Green Lantern about five times on ski trips. The interior of some of the rooms are worn, but the beds and towels are always clean and comfortable, and the heater has always worked. I've always gotten a good night's sleep. Good location, friendly staff, good pillows. If you looking for 4 star hotel you should look somewhere different. If you want a clean room and value this is the place.

It was very quiet on a weeknight in June, and the staff were friendly and attentive. OK motel, friendly staff, clean. We got a coupon for the beautiful beach nearby. Walking distance from downtown and the main beach. Small fridg in room. Clean. Person behind the desk was responsive to suggested topics discussed... Leak from ceiling, extra towels, blow dryer, toilet paper, and allowed a little time after morning check out time... Place was clean, friendly staff, pass to beach and morning continental breakfast included in price. Swimming and hot tub there, walking distance to lake and Casinos. This is a bargain hotel--nothing fancy-location is great-a bit worn around the edges but it was clean- I got what I paid for. Close to beach and casinos.the bed was comfortable. That we only stayed there for one night. Cheap. Close to Casinos. Close to Stateline. The shower door was difficult to open and close, an a bit dingy. Jaccuzzi broke. One light bulb was broken and water was dripping slowly from one of the pipes. Wasn't fixed during our short stay. Smoke smell. Breakfast could be improved. Parking a little challenging in the rear wing. The walls seem very thin a you hear neighbors easily. Possible blood spot on carpet in bathroom. Door did not have a weather strip at the bottom which allowed cold air to come into the room... Dated interior, flat pillows. The room felt wet?! Carpets felt wet. The bathroom was old and mildewy Constant drip from shower. Bad smell of tobacco in non-smoking room. Paint peeling off. Far more run down then when we visited last summer. We were the only ones parked to stay there. All other motels seemed full. Room was falling apart. Cracks in walls, floorboards, and the bed was mush. Everything seemed dirty, and as if it hadn't been used in months. One person in management hardly even on site half the time. We won't be staying again. This motel was run down dump. It was clean but had stained rugs and furniture, lumpy broken beds. Wall paint chipped, leaking showers facets, toilet seat broken. Lamps broken, electrical outlets did not work. Hot tub tiles all broken and in the bottom of spa. Loud party going on all night. Asked for a refund and to leave they told me to be out in five minutes which was impossible to do so we stayed.
