Staff, especially the woman in the breakfast area, was very friendly. Room was clean and nice. Pool was great...clean, warm water & the kids had a blast in it. Breakfast was terrific and a nice room to eat in. There was also outdoor seating with pretty landscaping if you chose to eat or hang out outside. We just spent one night passing through, but would definitely stay there again! Best hotel in this price range that we stayed in by far! Stayed in a Super 8 for more $ in another town and i.
all reviews » We enjoyed our stay at Brimark. Beds were great, food was good and the staff was very friendly. I liked the stencils in the hall as a cozy creative touch. Was also very thankful for taxi service to the airport and that we could leave our car at their lot while out of the country. Perfect!. The free breakfast was delicious! They had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and fresh waffles, along with the usual continental breakfast fare. The room was simple but comfortable. We all slept well. Also, it was dog-friendly, and we were traveling with our dog. I loved the night check in guy I think his name was stu!! I will stay there again just for the way he was so accommodating. I even called all my family that night and told them this was a hotel we will stay at!!. I was very happy that they were pet friendly as we were traveling with our Yorkie. The room was large enough for us and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great they offered a hot breakfast. The rooms had recently been redone and were very nicely done and decorated. The Inn is close to Interstates 90 and 29. It was very easy to find. The staff was very helpful with everything. The staff was so friendly,the rooms were fresh and clean,the pool was perfect,and the location was right where we needed it!!I will recommend it to all my friends and family. Easy access to interstate. Comfortable beds and updated bathroom. It was as good as any economy lodging I've used in Sioux Falls and will likely stay there in the future. We left two pillows; when we returned a week later, the staff had them for us. Loved the pool and that the rooms were clean, dark at night, quiet and smelled fine. The motel, check in/out was great, cleanliness top notch, bed and accommodations were great. The rooms were clean and in good condition. They had an outdoor pool and nice breakfast. The staff was fairly nice. There was nothing to complain about. The coffee pot still had some coffee in the bottom from the last visitor, which made me think the room might not be as clean as it could be. If I had to say something it would be location but yet it was quite. It's not that I didn't like the bathroom, it was small. It was very clean just a little tight for two people to use at once. Air conditioner had a loose panel that vibrated and caused periodic disrupted sleep. Reported the concern to staff on check out they seemed responsive. Free breakfast was nice but would have liked a non sugary cereal option. I was not impressed with Sharon who was working in the breakfast area. When my 6 year old with special needs was operating the cereal she got too much and Sharon yelled the told us that we needed to take another bowl b/ she was now going to be throwing the cereal out. I politely said yes I am aware of what I need to do as the parent and removed my child to our room to eat her breakfast. The outside of the building made me wonder what I was getting myself into - run down. No counter space in bathroom. Just small shelf. Construction in area made access to hotel difficult. Mattress was a little too firm. Smelled like cigarettes in hallways. Hard to find, moe with construction. Need better signs. our bathroom had lots of mold in it. We did not complain as we were to tired to change rooms. No elevator in the middle of my transaction clerk answered phone & that took precedent over my transaction (mentioned that to him) sink drain slow. We were not given any sort of notification about the renovation and construction that the hotel was under. The rooms were small. The pool is outside and in-between the hotel rooms. There is not many places to eat near the hotel. It is not near anything "vacationer friendly". We stayed one night and canceled our next 2 nights. We found somewhere else to stay.
