The overall atmosphere of the room, the breakfast was pretty good too..... this is the 5th time we've stayed in the past year and have been very comfortable and pleased everytime, well the first stay was kind of rough but not terrible, the good thing is they have done more and more upgrades between each visit and the overall hotel gets better and better. They now serve a full continental breakfast including waffle irons, eggs, bacon/sausage and home fries....very yummy!!!!.
all reviews » Comfortable, clean economical room. The girl at the desk on Friday night at Check-In tried very hard to correct the mistake (we were put in a single room but had reserved a suite) and she was genuinely apologetic and ultimately the issue was resolved and we got the room we reserved. Thank you to her (I did not get her name). We rented the Presidential suite for my Son's 11yo Birthday with his friends,it was wonderful.There was an incredibly helpful and happy woman at check out Sunday morning loved her.I Wish I got her name ,because of her we will be doing this again for my daughters birthday. The friendly staff was the most important to me. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was next. Cost was important but mainly because they offer a lot more than other local facilities at just a few dollars more. Number one experience. I will be back. I liked: 1. The nice sitting area in our room 2. The pool 3. Ample parking 4. Being located near an exterior door (we brought pets) 5. Breakfast 6. Pet friendly. 7. Very nice housekeeping and front desk staff. Stayed 3 nights with my little boy. I enjoyed to have little kitchenette, and the sofa bed. Snacks for kids @ 5 pm. Coffee 24 hours and breakfast was delicious. Made my own raffles for my Boy. The room was spacious (actually 2 joined together with space for up to 4), the bed comfortable and there was breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff was very accommodating. We had an issue with the tub not draining so they moved us to a new room and gave us a 30% discount on our stay. I would stay again!. I loved the staff.They made you feel so welcome.Everytime you came in the door they said Hi.They introduced them selves if you hadn't seen them before. Was more than I expected but then theres no reason to stop in seabrook unless its the cheapest place within a hundred miles. i love the waffle machine. We had a wonderful time at Hampshire Inn. The place was very clean, had a nice swim in the pool, hot tub,and breakfast was great. We would stay again!. We arrived during a snowstorm and the night attendant was already plowing the parking lot to make sure we were safe. He was very helpful and kind as well. this time the room was clean, and neat, there were a very minimum of towels in the room and bath towels were very rough to the touch, try some fabric softener. The coffee/juice bar is across the lobby from the room breakfast is served in, real pain in the but. Noise of ?fans, air conditioner could be heard from next door. Mix-up with the room - although a double room was reserved, we were put in a single and told we could not get the room we had requested. Ultimately, the error was discovered and we were eventually put in the correct room. The girl that checked us in just could not be bothered . Not a smile ,not a friendly greeting. No Pool towels,she gave out Bath Mats. My 7yo daughter wanted juice at check in at the breakfast area she told us it was closed and then let the man behind us get some.She was the only bad part of our stay. What's not to like? This was my second stay at this inn and I have yet to find a negative to comment on. I'm digging deep to find complaints: 1. Overflowing trash bin by the side door. 2. We couldn't stay longer. 3. We missed the hotel sign and drove past it -- could be larger, brighter. The pool area was a bit small and there were not enough tables (and the one we sat at was in rough shape. Was about to tip every time someone touched it.) For breakast, maybe add a waffle iron. The kids love that. The bathroom was dirty in the corners and the curtains were to small for the windows they did not close all the way. Pool would have been a real bonus …but it was closed. nothing. We rented the 2 bedroom suite, expecting two rooms. But it was actually 1 bedroom, with a bedroom in the living room. This was rather disappointing. We tried to book through the inn but the person on the phone claimed there were no rooms... We then booked on line with no problem... You had plenty of rooms... We are in the military so we lost the 20 % discount because somebody was too damned lazy to do their job.. Having to pay for wifi. No tv controller. no iron or coffee in room, wifi sketchy on some devices. I loved everything!. pull out sofa was not comfortable. The reservation at the front desk didn't match my confirmation. However, the staff did a great job accommodating us. Having to pay for wifi. Having to ask for tv listing sheet. Scrimpy breakfast. which there were some twin beds. sofa bed wad uncomfortable. mote fluffy pillows. Could use an upgrade with the bedding. The hotel had us arriving Sunday night, when it was quite clear that our reservation was for Saturday night, as stated on our printout! We almost didn`t get a room! You need to fix this!!!. My AC didn't work. No ice maker. Coffee, tea, juice should be in the same room as the continental breakfast. The room was hot and had to sleep with the window open on the first floor because the ac would not work because the temp outside was to low. They could of had a more extensive breakfast like eggs @meats. The survey!. The water pressure was really bad in the shower. We also wished the bedding was better. The bed had clean sheets, but a very thin blanket and an older bedspread, which we did not like using. We also wished there was an in-room coffee maker. Free coffee and tea is available in very small cups in the lobby though, but it would have been nice to have it in the room. The indoor pool was being remolded and we had brought our suits because of this feature. The Mattress was to say the least like a river bed , I have stayed here many times and this was the worst I ever slept , the pool area is in very poor condition ,. No towels and no ice. Ice machine was broken and the laundry service wasn't running. Check in person was answering phones, checking people in, mopping floors, giving directions, etc. The rooms weren't too bad, but lobby, elevator and hallways were disgustingly dirty. Beds were small/uncomfortable Room could have been cleaner Hot tub was dirty pool cloudy. Very old our room stunk like old rugs in smoke an was suppose be smokefree. Ac not working good, had to get a fan from front desk. Maid did not clean one of the rooms and ice maker was broken. Over ripe fruit at breakfast. Room had an odor. The room advertised to sleep 6 adults and 2 children, the room had 2 double beds and a pull out couch, we inquired about a cot and we were told they didn't have any and that the add was wrong, it only sleeps 6 people. The other issue was that there were 6 people in this room and we only got 2 towels, they didn't have anymore!. Although the rooms were supposedly recently updated, they did not appear to be well updated. The furniture pieces, color choice, and fixtures were all very low end. The beds were very uncomfortable. Bathroom floors, shower and sink faucets could use a good scrubbing. Beds were WAY too soft.
