Travelling information

Driving Directions from New Orleans and Baton Rouge:
-Take I-10 into Baton Rouge. Near the Mississippi River bridge, you will come to the I-10 and 110-North split. You will take 110-North, also known as the Martin Luther King Expressway. Then take Exit 8-C to Natchez, the very last exit off 110-North. A large roadside sign will read "Audubon Golf Trail and St. Francisville This Exit".
-You will then be on Highway 61, which runs North to St. Francisville. You will drive on this highway for about 25 miles and then come to a stop light just outside the town. There will be a Mobil gas station on your left, as well as several roadside signs about St. Francisville and New Roads (across the river by ferry).
(NOTE: All of your turns will be LEFT after this point)
-Turn left at this stop light onto Commerce Street, a winding road that passes our local hospital. In about 1 mile, you will reach another stop light. This is the intersection of Commerce and Ferdinand Streets, the main intersection in the town of St. Francisville.
-Turn left again onto Ferdinand Street (the main street in the historic district) and drive for about 3/4 mile until you see the courthouse on your left.
-The West Feliciana Parish Courthouse is a red-brick building with white columns and black copper bell tower. Grace Episcopal Church and its' cemetery will be on your right, across the street from the courthouse. The cemetery has a long, black wrought-iron fence with live oak tree limbs hanging over the street.
-Barrow House Inn is directly behind the courthouse on Royal, so you can turn left before or after the courthouse. The inn is a large white house with a huge live oak tree on the corner of Johnson Street and Royal Street.
-Walk up to the front door and ring the doorbell twice.
