Eric and his wife couldn't have been more hospitable. We loved the location, cleanliness, and SO APPRECIATED the upgrade to Room #3 on our second night. Beds were comfortable (we stayed in Rooms 1 and 3), the view was breathtaking, and we felt like we were at home. The owners are dedicated to making upgrades which will make this hotel even better. We highly recommend the Bearskin Neck Motor Lodge!!.
all reviews » The view from the room is great. Krystle was beyond nice throughout the whole booking and staying process - and very helpful in assisting you with what to do and where to go. Plus, after I left, I realized I forgot my boots in the room, which were found and shipped back to me very promptly (Thank you Krystle)!. The view of the ocean is spectacular, and you can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves hitting the rocks. The location is first class, Rockport, Ma is a beautiful place and the motel is situated right in the middle of everything. I would definitely stay there again. Location, no doubt the most incredible on the rocks listening to the surf crash. The owner available, pleasant, creating a homey atmosphere. Staff keeping the unit clean and ready to relax in. Never used our car as we could walk through the Neck and the town easily. Excellent location actually on Bearskin Neck. Shops and restaurants right out your front door. Incredible waterfront views. New owners were extremely accommodating and have done a great job updating the property. The views, the ocean right beneath the window, the friendly owners, the decks, the proximity to restaurants, interesting stores and galleries. Honest, comfortable, clean and warm accommodation with friendly hosts in drop dead gorgeous location. That we could walk around Rockport from motel. Enjoyed the view from room & morning coffee. Superb location. Our first room, #1, was so tiny. Had I known how small it would be, would have probably made a different room request. A mini-fridge would be welcome. The rooms could use some updating (ex: no plug in the bathroom) But, the new owners are aware and on top of the updating. Plus, this type of thing doesn't bother me - so I was still very satisfied. A microwave and refrigerator in the room would be a nice addition, but everything else was terrific!. Lack of electric in the bathroom. No bureau although we pack lightly and able to use the closet areas. There was no blow dryer in the room, again not a real problem for us. Lack of a bar in the whole of Rockport! The only restaurant shut at 7pm - no fault of Bearskin Neck. Can't think of anything. Door of room would not lock!.
