The rooms were really good value for money ...clean ...The breakfast room was also very well presented. Easy access to Subway station and eating joints. Takes short time to get to Manhattan (20 minutes).Clean hotel, excellent customer service, good breakfast. Close to JFK. Able to walk from Supthin Ave Air Train.Location. close to airport and shuttle service on time.

Also appreciated the free shuttle to the airport. It was very accessible by Subway and it was close to alot of Amenities. The neighbourhood was not too bad at all.Staff was really nice and also efficient. room and facility was as advertised, but because of below note, my recommendation is very iffy/conditional. A comment claimed the subway was just 200 meters---actually three blocks plus.The hotel staff went out of their way to assist us in any of our queries. They were fantastic. Especially Shreedat- highly recommended. The proximity to the airport and the fact that they had a complimentary shuttle to/from the airport. The staff were also very helpful.Closed to subway station (about 200 mts), friendly staff. The room was large and clean. Good bathroom which was very clean too. Close to airport and subway. Would have liked a guide to the television services, but not really important.Neighborhood a little iffy. Even though hotel was 'redecorated' it was shabby. no one in the many comments noted how funky the neighborhood was. Daytime it was fine, but at night the walk (3 blocks) from the subway was scary. One bight a gang fight was brew right outside the hotel doors, and we held our breaths getting inside. This made us think very carefully about getting a cab back the next night, but we braved the subway walk and were not bothereed the second night. The breakfast room was very small, we had to wait for a table. People on the street can see your room througth de window. Missing pool. Rooms where a bit small, the tv was not working very well had a veryannoying noise in the background. Internet access .It would be useful to have this facility as many travellers don't carry their laptops on holiday. Possible location could be the breakfast area?. when we asked for a taxi cab; manager in duty called a private taxi for us ( rather than a yellow cab); may be a friend of the manager in duty at that time ..and they charged us twice the amount than the regular cab. Breakfast is poor. But waffle and coffee is good.Breakfast wasn't worth it. It doesn't seem advisable to be out and about after dark so it limits your time if you go to places like Manhattan.No porters available, had to haul my suitcases up to my room and down the next morning. Front desk officer was rude when I asked for some help to bring my stuff down the next day. Room was below pavement level, rather small and with bars at window. Small room/bathroom (for 3). I did ask to consider my position as a lone female traveller but they still put me in a basement room with the window at street level. It didn't make me very comfortable as the neighbourhood is a little rough.Better breakfast and better set-up for it. I didn't enjoy it at all, not the food, not the "breakfast area". Recommend to take ear plugs especially if room under the pavement level ("floor 1")-felt like sleeping at night club. parking in hotel,. not good for breakfast, room not clean and small window, but can change when request. Not close to the airport.the carpet stinks,the bed smells and itchy.We book the hotel thinking it'll be cheaper than in manhattan but we end up just the same. the wait for the shuttle bus, no free phone telephone number like the rest of the hotels.
