That the other guesswhile sitting outside on a hot evening were polite enough to keep quiet. Also able to enjoys a small pool party for my 4 yr old with a few friends. I think it was scary for me at first because of the review Zi read before hand but real ppl it was not that horrrible. U can tell some settle improvments are being made but not a distraction to the guest. I would go again and the first time I drove in I feared for my life from the reviews :-/ I had read but go see for urself and .
all reviews » Linda, the front desk clerk was extremely helpful and allowed us to change rooms after we just checked in and got the toilet plugged up. She also found a remote control for us after we switched rooms without complaining. All in all, it was a very comfortable, cost efficient stay. We were only there one night, but will definitely go back whenever we travel to Phoenix again. ALL of the staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and seemed sincerely happy to be working there and serving their guests. It lifted my spirits! Although it is not a 5 star hotel, it is a terrific deal for the money, especially when you can grab some breakfast to bring back to the room. Great breakfast for our children to have a good start on their day. Convenient location, close to extended family. The staff were able to fill our special requests. Newly remodeled room. TV reception was poor in one of our rooms, but fine in the other. Some of the outlets in the rooms weren't working correctly. Outdoor pool closed for maintenance. Earlier check-in was not allowed. Absolutely hated the pounding on my door at 10:58 reminding me about checkout while I was getting ready...3 Minutes later pounding again about checking out...as a result will not return and will not reccomend this hotel. I did not appreciate the fact that they posted an employee in the exit door of the complimentary breakfast area to stop guests from taking items to the room as if the items were worth the trouble!. It is a little isolated from shops and a little way out of Phoenix Downtown. The fact that the continential breakfast was unable to leave the cafeteria. Would like to enjoy my breakfast in the privacy of my room. We missed only fridge because was very hot in the city all the time :). had to renew key card everyday. That we were rudely woken up by a cop trying to take down a drunk at two in the morning. They were making a lot of banging on the walls trying to arrest him. The rooms weren't exactly "sound proof" as described. continental breakfast was lacking. Toilet pugled up in a lot of rooms. Beds need. it smelled badly. One room was missing its smoke detector and the other rooms tv remote was covered in something sticky!!! Also there were not enough towels (staff provided more) and the water was just a bit more than warm, almost like there was no hot water. Wear and tear on rooms is not always taken care of. Free airport shuttle does not run as needed for early morning flights or late arriving flights. Free breakfast is poor with not much in choices to eat and the hours allowed for breakfast are too short. Pool area needs to be cleaned regularly. Our bathroom smelled like sewage which lingered through the whole room. The beds had an off brand tempurpedic mattress that got lumpy. Lots of people coming in and out of their hotel rooms all hours of the nights. We stayed on a Sunday through Thursday as well. I did not expect such a rowdy crowd. The worse 4 nights of sleep in my life! Oh well, saved money; and was only there to look for an apartment in the Phoenix area. It served the purpose for 30 bucks a night. Atmosphere/clientel did not feel safe even to sit by pool in daylight by myself as a woman traveling alone. Would have been OK if I could have asked other family members from the area to join me. The sink was always full of water, even after just brushing teeth and it smelled terribly. The bath seemed very used and the non-smoking room had a cigarette smell. These were very hot days in Phoenix, but the staff was just cleaning the pool with chemicals and it could not be used until the next day. However, no one put any notice so we almost jumped into the water. No microwave or refrigators in the rooms. Clogged toilet on first day unable to sleep because of loud partying outside window for two nights Unresponsiveness of management to address problem when I went to office. Unresponsiveness when I called to talk to the manage during stay and three calls after returning home. Issues still unresolved. Worst Days Inn breakfast I've every had. Sink drained slow, room needed updating. They can give more than one set of towels, especially if your traveling with someone. Hard to find in the city. The signs in the lobby. They made me wounder if I was in a bad part of town. Their walkways are so dirty. The just need a power spray. The staff did not respond to requests. The breakfast was very skimpy. The pool was cleaned at an inconvient time. Continental breakfast. The security lock on my door didn't work. The bath mat disintigrated and left residue in the tub. I left a nightgown hanging in the bathroom, called 3 times and was put off because housekeeping was not available, so I just gave up. Side walks a little to dirty. i booked kingsize room and did not get one despite asking for change Only 1 channel om television.Bed was hard.toilet did not flush easily. Bed box-spring was broken, ac barely worked, prostitutes and drug dealers working out of the motel. Four nights in a row housekeeping made my bed without a top sheet. Children running up and down stairs and sidewalk unsupervised. The oweres. A cockroach in the bedding didn't help. Bedding not clean.
