The 'condo' was very comfortable with everything we wanted - seaview of the gulf with the occasional dolphins passing by. A very quiet relaxing on the beach location.A Short walk or drive to some good eateries. Food shopping at Wal Mart was 10 minutes drive away, but a Wynn Dixie was just a 5 minute walk along the road. City pier with gift shops etc was only 5 minutes in the car and a large mall with major outlets was another 1 minute drive and is located behind the shops at City Pier. Overall .
all reviews » Very clean, up to date facility. Very friendly and helpful staff. My family and I stayed the week for softball nat'ls and love the fact I didn't have to wait for elevators longer than a minute or two. We had teammates at resort next door that would be waiting or in the elevator for 20-30 minutes b/c it was so busy and it would stop at every floor. Would definitely come again. This place was amazing. The accomodations were exactly as described when you look and read about the place. The beach was right outside the hotel which made it nice. The condo was clean and ready when we arrived. The staff were nice and friendly. It is a fantastic place for the price. we enjoyed everything about our stay. the rooms were spotless. the view was great. The pool and hot tub were clean and quiet. The people were friendly. We walked on the beach and I even read two books sitting on the beach. We will definitely be back. The room was decorated very well, and the design layout was great. I was totally surprised and pleased with my room. Very close to the water, extremely clean, comfortable and a lot for your money. Better decorated than the Holiday Inn Express. The location was great, right on the beach. The rooms were huge and well layer out ant stocked with all the essentials, I would come back if I get the opportunity. Loved the full kitchen and the fact that we had two full baths. Because this was not a high rise the beach and pool were never crowded so we could relax. Oceanside great. Non busy beach. Near to Winn Dixie, Walmart, Target. Near to food. All wed at 12, bbq at pool deck. Burger $5 incl. Soda/water. The location is very good, right to the beach. Nice clean and comfortable rooms with everything you need. Parking was excellent. The hotel is great! Great location with great facilities! Like it very much!! Hope I could stay there for longer time. I loved the layout of the room everything was clean . I will only stay at holiday inn from now own awesome. Steps from the beach, the view from the balcony, walking distance to everything. Nice clean rooms. The room was amazing, very nice and updated. Love the private balcony and the jetted tub. We like that It came with two t v and close to the beach and everything was provide. We absolutely loved our experience. I do not think I will ever stay anywhere else. Our only 'surprise' being that this 'resort' venue was previously called Sterling Breeze which is now under the 'ownerhsip' of Holiday Inn as of November 2012. When we first tried to find the place we went into the HOLIDAY INN RESORT by mistake to be informed our accommodation was about another 3 miles further up the Front Beach Road. Really cant think of much I didn't like or enjoy. There was nothing that we didn't like. It was a great place. Nothing about the hotel just the weather was a little cool and rainy. People being able to smoke on the patio. All great. Nothing. The rain first night :p. The water pressure in our shower is low. I only hate the weather, the wind is so heavy!!!!! But the weather has nothing to do with the hotel. No breakfast. I have no complaints. There was not much to do on the site of the hotel such as a bar or dining. The washer did not stop running until I close almost had a flooded room. And you don't get the linens change every day. The elevator was very slow. That was the only downfall. Already all booked for Memorial Day weekend!. the only negative would be that our condo was right below the laundry facilities on the 6th floor and at 8 a.m. they start the machines and some vibration and noise can be heard so starting the machines later would be appreciated or some type of sound proofing between the machines and floor might help as well. Check in time too late. Check out time too early. the living room sofa and two chairs weren't as comfortable as we had hoped for. Activities were very poor. If you are going to offer breakfast, then do it right - not in some dark, unfriendly room. Smoothies were not smoothies - not even ice - do it right - people made jokes about how they were served. nothing. I have none. Unlike other brand resorts I have stayed at (ie Marriott's), this is basically a hotel with a pool on the beach without anything else on site. (ie bar/restaurant, decent work out room, etc.). Slow elevator. pricey.
